Sorry, but they ruined Lestat in Queen of the damned... but why not ruin the movie anyway... after all, its GOT to be easy to shove two 400-500 page books together and make a 2 hour movie out of it.

But no, lets not get the main character right... lets not make the blonde haired vampire blonde...

ehhh I didnt read any vampire books... at all! xD

Sorry about my rant... I just don't like what they did to Anne Rice's novels with that movie.

They didn't even kill her right, and that was a key element to the book.

There weren't even twins!

And to top it all off, that movie single-handedly made me want to quit reading the books, so I ended up stopping halfway through Tale of the Body Thief.

I agree. The movie was subpar to how the book was. I wouldn't have stopped reading the books just because of that movie though.
