"Sounds like you two were pretty close... Maybe one day you'll meet her again." She didn't mean he'd have to die or anything. She only thought that there was maybe a way to bring someone back from the dead or visit them somehow without having to die. Just long enough to see how everything's doing with them. It was impossible to bring anyone permanently back. Unless their soul was implanted elsewhere... But that was also said to be impossible.
"Anyway. That sounds like a horrible thing they did back then. I can understand superstitious people wanting to kill so-called evil, but having that so-called evil being harm another... That's just cruel. Especially since it was double..." Double meaning two people who go through the same assumptions by townspeople of being evil. |
"Yeah, but although I miss her, it doesn't change how I've come to feel about you, you can trust that if you decide that you feel the same way I will be loyal to you, and make sure you live as long as possible." he says. "I have someone I need to search for, it's about time that me and her have had a talk." he says, knowing that she'll know what he means.

Her? Probably just a friend Tejina shouldn't worry about. "Alright. I'll keep that in mind. After all everyone can have more than one love in a lifetime right?" That came out wrong and she blushed knowing there would be more than on or even two lifetimes. For all she knew there could have been others, too, but she wouldn't think about that. "I'm sure I'll be okay when it comes to living. I'm never doing that mistake again. In time I'll have no trouble defending myself." This had to be reassuring even though she wasn't so sure about that herself, having her doubts. "Alright. Hope that goes well. That talk..." She may have an idea what that meant, but wouldn't ask.

"I'm finding Gina's spirit so that she can finally rest peacefully." he answers. "If you wish it I will return afterwards." he says walking over to the door, but waiting for her answer.

Something told her Gina may have crossed over by now seeing that he was okay, happy and upset about the whole thing that happened. She may have been a very forgiving person considering the situation. Tejina wasn't so sure about that, though, but didn't say anything about it. "Well hopefully you'll have luck with that. Some spirits only come during dusk or when dark out." It wasn't even dusk yet. "But maybe some like the daytime in private places." She'd never seen her herself even while taking late night walks, but maybe she wasn't walking in the right area at the time. "You can over anytime you want."

"Okay, I won't be a stranger." he says smiling genlty walking out. He walks over to the spot he thought about and sites under a tree, just at the edge of where she was sure to show up. He'd have to wait a bit, so he got comfortable watching the sun move slowly on it's course.

Around an hour or so passed by and a white glowing figure came into view in the sky drifting down. It was wearing a long blue dress with a white apron. The figure's hair was a light brown and hung loosely down her back, around her face and over her shoulders. As it neared the ground, the figure could be seen clearer. She resembled Tejina quite a bit, everything almost matching exactly. It was almost as though Tejina had died and become a spirit in the short amount of time. "I'm glad you came..." She even had the same voice!

He was startled into attention, he'd been watching the sun, then all of a sudden, he knew this spirit. "Gina! I figured you might have something that you needed to talk to me about before you could rest in peace." he says standing up and walking over to the spirit in front of him, just as he remembered her, except, more spirit like.

Gina lowered herself completely to the ground and her appearance changed. She no longer looked like a spirit. It was as if she was still alive. "You may think there's something to say, but there's really not. In a way, I've crossed over without any worries after being so confused over the years... I've been wandering around town trying to make sense of it all and trying to find you, but you'd disappeared..." She didn't have much time as she had to get back. "I understand what happened now, so it's okay. I don't blame you for doing that. You were forced and threatened." Gina was starting to fade away now.
Meanwhile Tejina had started on a potion she really wanted to do when she collapsed, pouring more than enough ingredients into the cauldron. It started to bubble and boil over to a crucial state. Then it happened... A large explosion. |
"No, I've just avoided plases where people might kill me, thank you, but I don't think that..." he trails off. He notices she's fading out, and reaches out for her hand, as if he could help her stay longer. "I've seen you, but I was never near where you were, so I figured I'd come here tonight, I'm usaully out running close to the water." He hears an explosion and knows what it was, he wondered what he should do, if he should see Gina as long as possible or make sure Tejina was okay.

"I've seen you, too, but could never reach. Not until I knew it was an accident. I suppose maybe I was a bit upset about my life ending so young like that, but it couldn't be helped. It was made to happen. I'm glad you're save and happy, though." The hand he held out went through her own. "You should go check on her. I can come, too."
Tejina lay motionless on the floor as the contents of the potion was all over the place. The cabin was still in one piece, but quite damaged as well with broken glass everywhere as she lay there, looking quite pale. |
He ran over to her cabin, and went in, he went over to her and checked her basic vital signs, he sighed with relief when he found them to be good, or close enough to it where she wouldn't die, he noticed Gina coming too. He shoch Tejina lightly, trying to get her to regain consciousness.

Gina stood in the doorway as she completely faded away. Before she did however she spoke her last words. "Reincarnations are great, huh?" A faint light could be seen as it seemed to hover over Tejina then disappeared.
Tejina returned to her normal colour and slowly woke up, confused about the whole thing as if she was also dead. Then she felt the headache. "Eh..." She rubbed her head with her knuckles. "What did I fall on? That hurt." She noticed the mess. "Didn't I just clean that up? Or was that a dream?" She was pretty much still out of it not noticing anyone in the room at all. |
"You, I guess, had an explosion in here, looks like it, I heard it from where I was." he says watching her, relieved.

"Hmm... I remember passing out just as I was adding something..." She looked over and saw the bottle was empty. "Guess I put in too much." She'd passed out unexpectedly just before Gina appeared.
"I'm wondering if maybe the potion I was making was too overpowering for me right now. After all I'm just a beginner." |
"Maybe, I think you should try and sit up." he says putting his hand at her back and gently puls her up to a standing position.

At first Tejina was a bit wobbly as she stood there so she sat down on a chair for a while. It wasn't the first time she'd passed out, but this time felt different. "I'm okay now. It was just surprising. Then to find my place like this... Wasn't expecting that to happen." She also couldn't describe the feeling.

"Yeah I bet it was." he says looking around. "Made a mess again too." he says smiling. "I'm gla your okay."

"Yeah... It's okay though. That can be cleaned up again despite being all sticky now..." She didn't like the sound of that, but it would keep her busy anyway. "I'm glad, too. I'd just passed out though. It's nothing really to worry about." She sat back in the chair for a bit as she still felt the headache a bit. "So how'd your meeting go?"

"Fine, she did come with me, then she vanished. "She said something about reincarnation."

"Reincarnation?" She had to think about that one for a second, but couldn't really come up with anything. She stood up and grabbed a book. "I wonder if this will help any." She flipped through the pages till she found something. "Okay. Here it says: Reincarnation can happen at any time. There are two ways it can happen. The first way is when a baby is born to look like a past relative before death. Although sometimes they can have past memories, too. The other way is when a spirit goes directly into the baby before birth retaining all the memories of their past life within time. However-" The rest was too faded to read.

"Sounds intereting." he says, thinking about that for a minute. "I think that's why you look so much like her, Gina I mean, one of those ways."

"I wonder which one, though... Which way it may have happened. Could be either. In the past I thought I'd regained some memories from her past life, but my parents just told me I was having weird dreams... I'd also passed out a lot as a child, but could that be related?" It confused her. "Anyway. I'm thinking before this place dries from potion I should start cleaning it again since it's easier when wet..." She walked into the kitchen and filled her pot with cold water then went back to the living to see the damage. Luckily none of her books had been covered.

"Yeah, would you like me to go outside while you do that?" he asked, not wanting to be in the way.

"This shouldn't take long. Just a few splatters here and there. Looked worse earlier, but that might have been me seeing things. Most of it ended up on the floor from overflow. Luckily the cauldron wasn't completely full." She laughed at that before moving the cauldron outside. Then she grabbed a floor washing brush and dipped it into the somewhat warmed water then scrubbed the floor where the potion had spilled. Then she grabbed a rag and washed everything else in no time. She was quite fast now. "There all done."
