Maus by Art Spiegelman is a comix that encompasses the biography of Art's father Vladek, a Holocaust survivor, as well as the rough relationship between father and son. It won the Pulitzer Prize in 1992.

Most people probably know this comix because of the way in which all the characters are portrayed: The Jews are mice, the Nazis are Cats, Polish are pigs, French are frogs, and Americans are dogs, etc.

So guys:
Ever read Maus?
What did you think of it?
Will you discuss it with me?!

I read it quite a few years ago. I remember liking, but also found it sort of depressing. It's one of those books I have always meant to go back and re-read, but never have...

I have never read maus, maybe I should. I tend to like that sort of historical graphic novel.

I read Maus and Maus II and I thought that they were both great! I love the way that he portrays different races by animals and such. I also thought that it was very well written.
