I just got into Minecraft recently. I'm glad there's a wiki else I'd be totally lost on what to do sometimes. I usually have very little luck spawning anywhere near animals and I died of hunger on my first serious play through, and then fall damage, rather than actually being nommed on by any mobs. I haven't had any luck finding Skeletons, either... but I'd like to, because then I could use their bones to tame wolves, or so I hear.

@ Kit - One thing about difficulty you might want to keep in mind:
Easy - no food will drop you to half hearts.
Medium - down to half a heart.
Hard - starvation. (I think, unless that is just for hardcore)

I know the feeling about the wiki, but so many things on the wiki are far too complicated. Like redstone @[email protected] I'm just now (after a year or two) barely figuring out redstone.

I've just met a creeper and I lost everything that I worked hard on D8 I think that means I'm getting more and more assimilated into this game XD so... addictive...

Thatsss a nice everything you had there. It's a shame soemthing had to happen to it. [lol]

Got a little tip for you with creepers..... use a bow until you learn to kill them with a sword.

Also, tame a cat. Creepers are scared of cats XD

Wow mushrooms but no cat? Mushroom biomes are rare aren't they?

I kept sailing and that's where I landed on XD My first biome was snow, then sand, then trees&rainforest.

I see... found any temples yet?

Temples? No, I haven't, not even close! All I've seen are natural habitats and farm animals.

Ah... well minecraft has gotten very very deep since I first started playing. I remember the old purely creative box we lived in before... now we have cheat codes...

That's pretty nifty that you found mushrooms, Kiba! I've never naturally encountered a mushroom biome, always have to find them through seeds.

I'm really looking forward to the Halloween update. I like it when they add new stuff. [eager]

@ Belly - Most of the ones I found were from me spending 2 days in an ocean biome... not surprised...

I spent quite a while in the ocean, of just sailing and sailing... just curious of how far I could go in the minecraft world and what else would be in the other side, if anything. Then I landed in the mushroom biome.

Lemme just put it this way for you...

It goes I think the math done was that it will take you as long as walking/running around the world 8 times?
