I'm just regetting into Minecraft again after a long break. 1.8 brought alot of nice new things which I think is awesome.

Also been nastolgiaing over my old server world(which I have saved and can use) where you can see how different the entire generator was till now. Also, lack of tons of blocks because I noticed how little blocks people used at the time due to their being main ores, redstone, bricks, and not much else. It's an interesting world because you can see how plain the entire game was then before all the monumental item updates.

I'd also be so down for a MC server. Hosting a server is really cheap as long as whoever wants to host it doesn't pay for more slots than we need.

$6 per month for a 24 slot server which isn't that bad. Pricing wise, it's fair and that's not even that much money to host it for a month. That's the fast food price of servers. Which isn't a bad thing because it's easy to keep paying to keep up and is super cheap.

I'm no good with servers though but I'd definitely start playing again if someone was running a server.

New update brought alot.

Literally called the Bountiful Update due to the new stuffs.

those bunny's are the HARDIEST creatures to get to come back to your farm. I had to go back four or five times just to get a family of four home. it took me three in game days to get them to fallow. never once saw them jump off a cliff though.

I find them cute... or I would not have tried to keep the family together. I would have just let the two fall by the way side.

I've already played around with the updates. Do NOT go near an underwater temple... you get a debuff that prevents you from placing or breaking blocks and drastically reduces your swing speed... and it's a 4 minute debuff... I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

I got hit with those nasty guardians of the temple. I was just swiming by trying to avoid the lava pit that was on land near my sand quarry house. and I only got hit with them when I moved away from the temple. its like they were not paying attention to me as I swam by untill I saw what they were guarding and moved to take a look for a safe place, AKA the island nearby. the server I was on now has an arch of glass on the nearby island filled with dirt in its middle to alart others that the temple is there.

yep not fun at all. and it seems that the second one is going the way of the first. I fear it may have to do with to much mining and the size of the computer.

the sun was "rubberbanding" (sever owners words not mine) and it was dropping the connection.

it kept bouncing back and repeating its move.

Try dropping the view distance. That helped me get rid of that

That's a latency issue you're having, Lun. Either it's because of the servers location or your connection.

Also, the server probably didn't have enough ram and processing power to keep up with all the people on the server doing what they do. Owner needs to upgrade the server hardware or face more corruption in the future.

Aw man, I wish I could play with you guys. Haven't encountered an underwater temple yet, but they sound scary!!
I got a new enchantment that helps you walk faster underwater, though. Not sure how helpful that would be for those places.

at this time the server only has two players on it. my view distance is about 6 and I have it on quick not fancy for the leaves and such. but would taking the server off the wireless and plugging it in directly to the internet help?
