Game gold limit?
People play games for the gold, so why not unlimited? is there the risk of bots..?

Because unlimited gaming would cause inflation. And who wants that?

I have a question along these lines - didn't there used to be a larger limit? I haven't been very active here in a while but I thought that there used to be a game gold limit of 500 gold in stead of 250?
Or .... do I just have that wrong? |
no the limit used to be 500, they changed it a little while back to test inflation rates, see how it would affect, since there was an increase in people playing the new games instead of posting in the forums.

Well, I don't agree with unlimited gold for gaming. I think that the 500 gold limit was just a fine totall. In one day you could buy a single new CI from most venders so in two days it really helped out. The disadvantage is that with the 250g limit it's so hard even if you do play the games to get enough gold from it to really help out. With the 100g that you can get from likes and game comments you can only get 350. I would say up the total to 400g so that you can still get 500g a day.

You don't think that being able to earn enough gold to buy a CI in just one day isn't a little excessive? Being able to earn gold too fast and from no user interaction is partly what has turned Gaia into what it is today...

I really think the gold cap is fine as is. I could easily make 1,000 gold a day if I so chose. 500 from gaming (main and mule) and 500 from posting, which is easy for me as I tend to lurk all over the place :XD It's not supposed to be easy to earn gold. That's the point of earning it.
