"What kind of stories?" Lin said as she put her stick down.

"Oh, various." Nassii responded, twirling a lock of his hair. "As the mood strikes."

"Cool. I'm not good at telling stories, I always tell ones that are embarrassing." Lin said as she looked up at the sky.

"Oh really?" He asked, "How is that so? Do you intend it to be amusing or does it just gravitate in an embarrassing way? That is to say is the story what embarrasses you or the way it ends up being told?"

"The stories I tell make people laugh when I'm not trying to make them laugh and its embarrassing...I don't like being laughed at." Lin said.

"Aha." He grinned wickedly as he loved this kind of discourse. "I see... But are they really laughing at you or the happenings in the story?"

"I think its at me." Lin said thinking about the stories shes told. After a moment of reminiscing she looked at Afanasii and said "Yeah they were laughing at me."

"Oh, tut-tut." He shook his head and clicked his tongue. "Surely the laughter was an effect of the joy you bring into any conversation?"

She spots a path that seems to lead down past the waterfall. "Well that looks promising. I suggest we start over there." She starts to walk towards it, looking back to see if Ari and Delimant are following.

Delimant followed her down the trail, keeping a sharp eye out for anything that might cause them alarm.

(SIGH, waiting for people sucks sometimes!)

Ari Stood hesitantly at the top of the path glancing down at the camp on last time before following Whispers and Delimant down the path with her bow at the ready. "Wouldn't ambushing them make us seem hostile?" Ari mused outloud.

Whispers glanced back at Ari. "Well...yes I suppose. We could just go into the camp. We would find out soon enough if they are hostile or not without portraying ourselves as hostile." Stopping she looks back at her companions. "It's not much farther, what would you propose we do?"

((Since I missed alot, I'm just going to have it where they woke up from passing out.))

Andre's head was pounding, he groaned as he rolled over onto his side. He was on the hard and cold ground, his body aching with dull pain. "Huh? What happened?" he mumbled as he sat up, one hand going to his head. "My head hurts like it was a chew toy for some baby dragons." He grumbled. He tried to stand up, but he wasn't stable on his feet. He gripped a tree to keep himself up right. "Must've been the blood lost." He said to himself, he wasn't sure where Tzip was. He hoped she was alright and not mad at him for passing out like that.


Bard opened his eyes slowly, not remembering where he was at first. Panic hit his chest hard, like a warhammer slamming against a darwven made shield. He clutched his chest, his heart aching as he bolted striaght up from the ground. He was panting heavily and his body was covered in sweat. He looked about him frantically, seeing that he was in the clearing and with people who didn't seem like they wanted to hurt him. He began to relax a little, he took a deep breath. "I must've fallen asleep." He mumbled to himself, not seeing anyone around him. He stood, feeling the need to bath, he walked around to the other side of the pound, one that had a small pool that was somewhat private from the clearing and other side of the lake. "This would be a good place to bathe quietly without scaring any of the ladies." He said to himself. He began to strip down to his birthday suit. He waded into the water so it came up to his waist. His body wasn't as well toned as Andre's but Bard had the body of a fighter as well. His large black wings were spread out over the water, the tips of his primaries feathers dipping into the water. It felt nice, not too cold nor hot. He had never felt water like it before, it was like it was washing away his worries and pains.

Afanassii heard a strange noise off in the distance and decided to investigate it. "I must beg your pardon, my friends but it seems I might be needed elsewhere. I shall return, though."

With a slight bow, he turned on his heel and slunk off into the shade again. "It should be getting dark soon." he thought with a smile.

Danae walked into the woods, away from camp. She staggered through the forrest, she panted in pain and her view blurred.
I have to find food. It costs me a lot of energy. Who shall be my victim? she sat down on a rock and took a deep breathe through her mouth. She closed her eyes and rubbed her temple. "What a horrid day."

Tzipporah walked back to where she had left Andre resting. She had gone back to her old place, as they were not far. Whilst there, she picked up a fresh change of clothes and some extra supplied that she had collected over the years. She also picked up something that was dear to her, however she did not want to reveal it until later. She peeked around the corner; Andre had stirred and was awake now. Coming out beside him, she smiled.

"Good morning sunshine," she said with a slight bounce in her voice. She took out one of the clothes and lightly licked it, cleaning off the dried blood from his neck.

October walked over back to the fire and expanded her wings. She smiled and started to hum along with some old tune she knew. She watched the fire dance as she hummed along with a tune.

Suddenly Whispers heard a noise coming from the path ahead. With alarm she stiffened as she caught the scent of fae. this can't be good Motioning for Delimant and Ari to be silent and move with caution she pointed ahead and then pointed to the trees. Whispering, "I think that fae i scented earlier is on this path ahead of us. I'm going to check it out." Looking at Delimant, "Do you want to come with me for backup?" She trusted him to have her back way more than Ari who she was still unsure of. She slowly went towards the trees, waiting for a moment to see if he was coming as well before melting into the shadows.

As the day grew later, Nassii felt more and more at ease. the sun became a more direct line toward his eyes but it was still a comfort knowing that it would soon be evening.

For the moment, he knew he was not exactly alone - there were those who's company he had just left and others that he could sense somewhere about. Mostly knowing other sentient beings were in the area only put him ill at ease, but this time there was some curiosity and even annoyance at the thought of another fae about.

Only time would tell how everything would play out. If, indeed, it did....

Delimant slowly followed behind Whispers, making sure not to break her stealth. He wasn't nearly as effective in stealth reconnaissance as Whispers was. Even his levitate spell wouldn't help, as that would cause more noise with leaves blowing around beneath him. He watched Ari dissapear behind him as he went further into the woods with Whispers.

Ari was slient in thought for a moment and then tensed when Whispers spoke. Not failing to notice that she took Delimant for back up over her, Ari just nodded and carefully and quietly climbed a tree to get a better view of the direction that Whispers was heading in. Perched on a branch with her bow and arrow ready she watched as Whispers and Delimant approached the male fae. One wrong move from him and I can hit him easily from here and no harm with come to either of them. Ari thought as she kept her eyes trained on the target. She was sure that she would rather not have to face these woods and the camp without either of them.

Looking back, she smiled as she saw Delimant was coming with her. Maybe not as quiet as me, but it will do Letting her senses guide her she motioned for him to move closer and pointed up ahead. Whispering in his ear, "I think that fae is just up ahead, should we ambush or wait to see what happens?"

The shadows were getting longer as evening fell, creating more places to hide. She relaxed just a tiny bit, more comfortable at night for some reason. She loved the daylight but seemed to be more at ease at night. Perhaps it was the sounds or just the ability to move in the shadows more easily at night. She was able to dim her wings and could blend in with the shadows if she chose too but she decided to keep that ability to herself at the moment and there was really no need for her to dim them.

Afanassii knew he was being followed. There wasn't any point in trying to hide, his chances of concealing himself from another fae were pretty slim.

In stead, he chose to lean against a large tree, keeping well within the shade of the waning sunlight.

Delimant moved a bit further up than where Whispers was to get a glimpse of the fae. Why did he stop? He's just standing there... he thought to himself. Most likely, the fae knew that they were there. Perhaps he had some sort of sensing ability that allowed him to know that they were coming? Or maybe Delimant was just too fucking noisy. Either way. Delimant backed up to where Whispers was and suggested.

"It seems like he knows we are here. Maybe we should just casually walk out and hope all goes well?"

Laughing silently, "I figured he would sense me, cloaking or not. Fae tend to recognize each other and it's very hard to hide from one another. Yes lets go out and see what happens, just be careful." Looking back to where Ari was she made a motion to her to keep an eye on their new "friend" just in case of trouble. Moving out onto the darkening path she made eye contact with the fae. hmmm seems like all the males I have come across so far have been handsome
