Xurxo's Eternal Roleplay Search [always open]
Hello, I'm Xurxo. I'm looking for some one on one or small group roleplay. I'm pretty easy going, but I do have a few things I like/dislike/and am looking for. I'm always looking for things. LOOKING FOR... → Anything, really! I am open to a variety of premises. One on one play or very small groups are preferred. → I prefer original characters, but am open to some fandom based roleplay. → I like either a short term plot or a long term plot. I think short terms are fun to quickly devote your attention to. Single scenes, things like that. WILL DO... → Science fiction. Space ships, futuristic, anything unusual. I like androids and altered human beings. Both of which fit into the next category for me, too. → Superheros. I don't mean fandom ones like Superman, I mean original ones. Create your own universe, superpowers, identities. Genetically altered humans and the like fit into here as well. To me, superheroes can be all encompassing. It can take the modern fantasy, sci-fi, and other things and mesh them into one universe. → Fantasy. Whether this fantasy is a modern fantasy (ie: vampires in the modern world, elves, mystical creatures), or a traditional fantasy are both possible for me. I like both styles of universe. Yes, I do consider modern-day vampires to be modern fantasy. → Horror. Things that go bump in the night. → Zombies. Yep. I think this is self explanatory. → Post-apocalyptic. I love settings like this, as well. Survival based roleplays, struggling. → Romance, but I never roleplay strictly for romance. Character development and plot development always drive things for me. I'm probably not the ideal person if you just want a quick hook-up. I will do any sort of relationship that is deemed appropriate per the character's developing relationship or setting. (I mean, M/M, M/F, F/F. None of which ever bother me.) I think it makes more interesting. If you want them to have a predetermined romance, that is okay - but I enjoy developing the backstory to it! I like watching two characters develop into the romance~ → Issues of gender and sexuality. I mean transgender/genderqueer - transexual is alright for me. Also alternative lifestyles are fun :3 → Mostly anything, really. I mean, I do have my preferences, but I am always open to a good idea. → I prefer to play males. But I will play either. I will also play more than one character. Many, even. WILL NOT DO... → Completely overwhelming amounts of drama. Everyone likes a little bit of drama, but there's such thing as too much. → Anything against the rules here. → Ask about fandoms. Don't assume I will. MY OWN RULES FOR PLAYING ...of course I have my own set of rules I look for when playing with others. → Proper grammar is an absolute must. Obviously everyone makes typos and other mistakes. But...try! → I prefer at least a full paragraph if not more than that for each post. → Patience is a must! I can't comment every hour. I work full time and have a life. Likewise, I will extend this same patience towards you. If you're not going to be there for more than a week, simply send me a private message so I know I didn't get ditched. → If I ask for appearance, I don't mind if you have a picture, but please write something out. → Mark your Out of Character comments as OOC, and using parentheses of some sort would be nice~ → Please follow Menewsha's rules! SOME NOTES → I am willing to RP here in a thread, over AIM (I would PM you my screenname), or even on MSN. There's slightly different etiquette on messengers, which we would discuss if you want to do it there instead. → I'll post up some scenarios if anyone wants. I have loads. i like fantasy, horror,romance.almost any pairing is fine with me as long as it isn't boring/short termed.i like long termed with a few events going on.like to make it interesting.

I don't normally play strictly for pairings, but when I do - any are fine. We could do a horror or fantasy setting. I'm pretty flexible and easy going with it. Do you prefer to play males or females?

i play females.and im not sure what we should do for a plot.i don't want something too simple and easy going if you know what i mean.
like for example my character sees yours and falls in love i don't go for that kind of stuff cause it gets..dull :lol: |

YAY okay lets start brain storming.i watch horror anime so that helps.there could be an accident occur in the town they live in and my character was behind the whole accident?like killing someone or something like that

Yes~ like, a murder or something interesting like that. But mine has no idea that she is, and maybe starts gathering information and is led into believing it is someone else~?

Hm. I have a reanimated human girl that lives with her twin, non reanimated sister. Maybe put them in a horror-ish setting? Any of that catch your eye? :D

@Demi - I can start something up if you'd like. Do you want to post your profile in your first post and I can do it in mine as well~ Do you have a preference for format? If you'd like me to do a thread, I can. :)
@Arcturus - Same questions, actually. I think a lot of it will kind of go along, it would probably start off seeming chilled and relaxed and develop into the horror. Also, should they know each other, meet on the way (perhaps living in the same neighborhood). I'm thinking a thriller/horror. I'm thinking of tossing in a guy into the mix, balance out them with being totally normal and seemingly uninteresting at first. |
I normally just put name, age and picture. And by format do you mean POV? If so, I prefer third person. If not, well XD. And it doesn't matter to me who makes it, so it's up to you. And I like that idea. :D

Format: I mean - thread? I can set one up for both of you, really. I just wanted to be sure if you wanted me to leave space for that or if it is okay to kind of figure out how the characters are throughout the posts. Which works great for me and is a preference. Also, I only write third person, too :3
