Eh, even at 25 I don't know if I made the right choice to go into school this intensely now.

Kole_Locke 11-11-2012 10:26 PM

I'm in my early thirties approaching mid thirties lol...

ElysiumFate 11-11-2012 11:03 PM

Yeah, Ser, you're definitely not too old to be doing this...

serena yuy 11-11-2012 11:09 PM

I was more leaning towards not being old enough or mature enough to be ready for it :/

Having one of those days again.

ElysiumFate 11-11-2012 11:20 PM

If there's one thing I've come to accept, it's that you'll never be ready for any big change in life. Ever. You can either do it, or regret not doing it at 80.

I hope everything's okay other than just being a little stressed.

serena yuy 11-11-2012 11:38 PM

Eh, I dunno what I want to do right now and it's too late for me to back out. I know I'm going to fail a class this semester. I dunno if I'm cut out for this... to make it worse, I'm all spastic and have stuff to do with school and am stressing over it... He's barely talking to me because he's still upset at himself for Friday and he told me today that it's a bit more complicated than that and that he'll talk to me when he figures it out... All he's freaking doing is watching vids on youtube... Isn't really talking much to me other than short messages, the way he usually talks when something is wrong-.-

ElysiumFate 11-11-2012 11:59 PM

Everybody has trouble with classes sometimes--if you fail you just retake it. I know it's more money, but if that's how it is, that's how it is, unfortunately....

Can you at least get a C in it? Not the best, but you passed.

What can you do? He has to get his shit together.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 12:02 AM

The sad thing is it's the intro course too :/

I know he does. It's just getting to me at times. I know he cares, I just want him to express it some how today.. And also tell me what he's figuring out. I'm just anxious to get through this semester... In one piece.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 12:12 AM

Do you think you're having trouble with it because you're stressed, or because you genuinely don't understand it?

Yeah, it's hard to deal with relationship troubles being away from each other. Hopefully you get some resolution.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 12:14 AM

A mixture of the two. To make it worse, I have an assignment that is heavily weighted in my final score for the class that is due on Wednesday that I haven't been able to figure out.

It is hard... And he isn't talking to me. I try to talk, he doesn't really talk.. and I know he won't talk on the phone. HE never likes to talk on the phone when he's stressed or upset. But, even when I'm also stressed and upset at the same time he is... We don't talk on the phone even though I would like to because he doesn't.

Edit: I even said something about missing him and looking forward to seeing him in a little over a week... almost an HOUR has passed and he hasn't responded to that... He keeps going away and coming back without saying anything either.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 12:48 AM

Can you get in and ask a GTA or the professor to help you? Or a tutoring center on your campus?

Yeah, I get it. I had that long distance relationship, and when things blew up in the end the issue was that we weren't face to face. I mean, you can't really argue things out when one person or both of you refuses to reply. Face to face you can't exactly escape.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 05:26 AM

I'll figure outthe assignment
Sorry, I ended up attempting soem work, ate, then my mom called and I talked with her and my grandma.

Yeah, it's hard when we have arguments being away like this. But, I think we'll be fine. He was playing stuff on Minecraft and some custom games for it and such. so, he kept himself busy.
Hopefully he calls me on his break tomorrow.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 06:47 AM

It's fine. :)

As long as he never pulls a stunt like the other day again, I think you two'll be fine, yeah. It's just hard is all.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 06:51 AM

Yeah. I don't think he would again. He's still mad at himself. He was quiet most of the night, but was also doing stuff too. But, he signed off his normal way with me, so other than him being a bit mad at himself and knowing I'm upset at him, we're fine.

mmm chocolate.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 07:25 AM

Yeah, he's a dude. He's got to sit there and think about it for awhile before he can say anything intelligent on the subject.

Chocolate is good. ^^ Kinda sick of it after Halloween, but still love it. My mum brought home some peanut brittle and I want to try it but I'd already brushed my teeth and I can't be bothered.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 07:30 AM

ooo I helped my mom (who btw is allergic to nuts) make almond brittle last year. ^^

Yeah... He's the type who would do that. I do the same thing sometimes.. Though with me is I need time to get out of the dark place first. I'm sure he'll be fine.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 07:39 AM

Lol, why did your mom want to make almond brittle then? Though it does sound amazing.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 07:47 AM

Because the family does like stuff like that. She will use gloves or I'll help her and do most of it since I can taste it and stuff.
Plus thankfully she's not deathly allergic so she can be around it.

Oh it was good. I made microwave fudge for mike's dad last year. It was liked by all :D

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 07:51 AM

I like nuts, so I'm glad I'm not allergic to them. Not allergic to any food that I know of, luckily.

I do want to try to make fudge. I've heard it was complicated if you do it from scratch, but hell, I've made souffles before, can't be that bad.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 08:08 PM

Oh same here. I am thankful I really do not have an allergy to anything. The food I do have a sensitivity are eggs. I cannot have too many eggs. I also have to make sure the yolk is cooked a certain amount so I don't get sick.

Oh this microwave fudge was really easy to make... Mike could do it if he wanted to.

I had sushi again for lunch. This time I grabbed a Philadelphia roll. It was good. I still like the citrus tofu roll from Wegmans better though.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 11:19 PM

I have allergies to a couple of medicines, but they're not things one generally comes into contact with, so I'm quite lucky with that. Although, perfume that is made up of unnatural ingredients does mess with my skin some. Makes me break out in pimples.

Lol, if a man can do it then it must be easy! XD Jk, jk.

Eh, I don't like sushi, but I know other people really do. Might give that tofu roll a try, though.

serena yuy 11-12-2012 11:27 PM

The funny thing is... It used to be made by the oldest brother :P

I like the veggie rolls or the cooked fish ones. The one I ate today had the stick of imitation crab. I like it, but it's not my fave.. Just normal. Nothing too awesome.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 11:35 PM

Lol, more proof! ;) My dad was the one to teach me to cook, though, so I don't really believe men suck at cooking.

I kinda don't like seaweed, so it depends on if the stuff is fresh and whether or not the stuff is cooked, then I'll give it a shot. [yes]

serena yuy 11-12-2012 11:38 PM

The tofu roll I like isn't wrapped in seaweed :) Too bad you don't have a wegmans in your area ^^"

Yeah, my brother is the pro-chef in the family.

ElysiumFate 11-12-2012 11:50 PM

Yeah, there's definitely a lot of stores you guys have up North that we don't have down here. It's more technologically advanced up North as well.
