yeah I've been catching up on some house work and what not from working so much O.o my home was becoming a disaster area

My apartment (well... my bedroom) was a disaster area. Mike and I left Buffalo later than we originally thought because he helped me clean up a bit to get things organised before we left.

My dad told me about the shooting when he came home from work that day. First I brushed it off and then I was like: wait.....what did you just say? o.o We watched Obama give the speech where he was trying not to cry while we were sitting in a Mexican restaurant eating dinner.

Yesterday was kinda hard, watching this memorial to the victims on T.V.

Anyway, I figured the event was coming up. Anybody have an idea for our thread theme?

Hmmm no I'm sorry, and I heard Obama got emotional. My mom texted me about the shooting and I was at work so I didn't get the text till later but I was still surprised.

Unfortunately I forgot to grab my soy nog and orange juice ^^" Thankfully though they're in the cartons, but I dunno how that'll be when I get back ^^"

yeah, I was waiting with mike getting him some lunch when Obama spoke and I was talking to a couple people from work and had a hard time not crying watching him wipe tears from his eyes.

I reposted stuff from people on Facebook about the shooting, but I wasn't able to think of anything to post. Wasn't feeling good all weekend ^^"

I posted a long rant about the Aurora shooting, but really didn't have anything to say this time. While this one was "worse" (these things aren't really quantifiable), the Aurora shooting was right in my backyard so that one was very upsetting to me. Still, very sad about this one, but I couldn't find anything to say about it that would make any difference anymore.

Well darn then. I have no idea what theme to work out, but I guess I'll figure it out.

Awh, that would be fun, but I'm trying to make something college themed. It's getting more difficult to come up with original ideas, so I think I'm just going to have to repeat an old one again.

Well I've done the tree thing before to so it doesn't really matter I wish we had more floors, like a nice clean white floor.
