I think my mind is distinctly un-messed-around with, but thanks for the clarification on pronounciation.

I'm not sure there would really be a point to buying an invisible coat on Mene. That would be sort of like buying an air guitar on eBay.

devcul 03-13-2011 05:38 PM

*Bluffs a bit, taunts, and sits down on the ground, though very tall, like 7,6, very skinny, you probably could never tell the difference from me being a giant popsicle stick* Eh, eBay Rips off many people, dear sea turtle, invisable coats may be invented, but you never know till the end. *Grins*

----------

It very well not be a coat there, but trust me, im wearing one right now. *pulls it out of my backpack*

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:41 PM

I didn't mean to imply that they wouldn't be invented. I'm sure if users could create items there would indeed be an invisible jacket, and it would go for a lot of gold (or picarrots, if you prefer). I was just saying someone would have to be a little foolish to buy one, since there's no evidence of having it when you're wearing it.

And I think the main difference between you and a giant popsicle stick would be obvious, since you're a person, not a giant popsicle stick.

devcul 03-13-2011 05:41 PM

*puts it on*

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:41 PM

Oh. See, that changes the entire conversation. :)

devcul 03-13-2011 05:41 PM

eh, i look like one though. very tall, skinny.

----------

Yup it changes it.

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:43 PM

Oh, but you see, my point was that, no matter what, regardless of how skinny you may be, you'll never ACTUALLY look like a giant popsicle stick because of several features innate to human (ya know, arms, legs, fingers, faces...the kinds of things popsicle sticks don't have :-P)

devcul 03-13-2011 05:44 PM

Mhm. i look like a jacked up popsicle stick then. *starts laughing*

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:45 PM

Ooh, like, the Ent equivalent of a popsicle stick!

devcul 03-13-2011 05:46 PM

Bingo. ^^

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:48 PM

Does that also mean you're covered in moss and bark and talk really slowly and take forever to say "good morning"?

devcul 03-13-2011 05:51 PM

...im not covered in moss or bark, i have a very deep voice thats AWESOME. and no, i can easily say good morning. ^^ i usually call people by a nickname, like wings of something, who is a girl, i would call her Wingsy, or linnea, Linny, You know where im getting at? I absolutely love food, though im very very skinny, i think ive had a tall moment about 3 times to be this tall i am now, my IQ's 200 and im a A+ student but my head isnt big at all. :)

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 05:53 PM

Really? I'm surprised that you don't have a large head (speaking literally) simply because you're so tall; it's been my experience that the taller the person, the larger the head.

I really love food as well. I'm studying Baking and Pastry Arts. What do you study?

And what exactly is a "tall moment"? Aren't you sort of perpetually tall, given the permanence of a feature such as height?

Marguerite Blakeney 03-13-2011 06:14 PM

Aw, seaturtle, I like your avi! It's so Southern Belle. *jealous*

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 06:16 PM

I'm glad you like it!

It's actually based on a book series I read when I was younger. I'm such a geek!

Marguerite Blakeney 03-13-2011 06:17 PM

Really? Which series is that?

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 06:19 PM

The Song of the Lioness, Tamora Pierce. Are you familiar with it? She's rather popular.

Marguerite Blakeney 03-13-2011 06:19 PM

I've heard of the author, but haven't read any of her books before.

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 06:21 PM

It's actually very interesting. Those were her first books, and by far some of my favorite.

The main character disguises herself as a boy for 8 years to train as a knight. My avi is what I think she'd end up being if she had ended up at the convent, like her father had originally planned for her.

devcul 03-13-2011 06:25 PM

Oh, i mean by a spurt, groath. (sorry if i spelled that wrong )

Marguerite Blakeney 03-13-2011 06:27 PM

Oh, okay. So basically it's an interpretation. I see.

devcul 03-13-2011 06:28 PM

*looks at margue* dahdha..adh.. *nosebleed, then spins around and falls to the floor* @[email protected]

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 06:29 PM

@devcul - It's spelled "growth" but that's okay, because I think the important part of communication is the other person understand you (which obviously I did :)) I do find it interesting that, with your IQ of 200, you have issues spelling... :-/

@Marguerite - Yeah, something like that. Personally though, because of her character, I think if she had ended up at the convent she still would have learned how to kick some major ass. She's a BAMF.

devcul 03-13-2011 06:30 PM

Eh, i haven't used growth in a LOOONNNNG time. Memory doesn't apply for me though.

seaturtle16 03-13-2011 06:32 PM

Isn't memory the crux of learning? How could a person be intelligent without a strong memory?
