Any body of water will stink on an off day. I don't think I minded the smell of the ocean the last time I was at one. Now lakes can really stink sometimes.

We've been having a drought here for the last year, and all the lakes are drying up. They stink like hell.

For sure. They say there's tons of snow going on in the mountains, which is usually a good sign down here at the base of the foothills.

That and the ski resorts can actually open up. o.o

Oh yeah, they have huge hills/mountainsides dedicated to sledding and snow tubing.

I'm not a ski lover either. I'd much rather just go and camp in the lodge and get a massage while everyone else freezes their butts off.

Yeah...my laptop is quite old. It was expensive at the time I got it, and they still sell versions of it with the same hardware inside as the cheaper laptops out there these days, but I want one that can handle the newer games like Skyrim. I'm still deciding whether to get it now or wait for my birthday.

I'm thinking to buy it, and then ask for money to just put back into my account later when my birthday comes round.

Yeah, I'm debating... I mean, I have to wait for any sort of money anyway, but... Bleh.

I've got the money for it, but the question is whether or not I want to spend it. I hate spending money. Goodness know I might have a heart attack when I buy a house.

I'm spending the time trying to see if I can actually justify it. My current laptop is fine for everything except gaming, so I'm gonna sit on it for a week or two, I guess.

My netbook has no working AC adapter anymore... So... I think I need a new laptop.

My laptop is going on five years old. [sweat] It's lasted so long because of the fact that it was the shit of the shit back when I first got it. It's still working fine, too. Planning to sell it to my mum for 150 because of the new 4gigs of RAM I put in it, and the Windows 7 Home Premium I upgraded it to.

But yeah, I couldn't deal with just having a netbook. How do you charge it without an AC adapter?

I don't charge it. That's the problem. Heh.
