No, I didn't take a semester off. It's just that my classes don't start till like...the 21st of January.

Gees lucky you Ely :p alot of my friends are taking semesters off.

WOW that is a nice break. We got most of december off though.

Hmm. It must be a thing with the colleges I've been to, then, because they've both had winter breaks like that....o.o

I've been off since about the 11th of December, too, I think.

I have been considering taking a semester off. I am just so sick of and burnt out on school. >.>

This is really bad I can't remember when break started.

I won't be taking semesters off since I want to be done with school.

Don't worry Otaku. I'm not really sure, either. I know it was within the week of the 11th......

Yeah, I keep thinking that, too. It'd be better to just be done than to waste a semester...

Meh. It'll help. What I really need is a three month summer. My mistake was not taking last summer off, but I had to do it to finish my degree so I could move on to my bigger university.

Hey, I don't blame others for doing it, and I wouldn't blame myself for doing it, either. I've just got to convince myself it's worth it.

Yeah I'm not sure about taking classes during the summer either.

I NEVER take summer classes honestly. The way they cram the schedules into the week normally makes it impossible for me to work a full schedule around it. So it's worth it me XP

@Otaku: Don't do it unless you have absolutely no other choice. It really takes a lot out of you and isn't worth it.

@Birdie: Yeah, most people feel the same. I only went Tuesday and Thursday, but all the homework and it just made it hard to do things...

Yeah for some reason my class was like only an hour but at the most inconvenient time each day, like at 5 (right at shift change).
If it was still two 3 hour classes or one six hour class like my others were I could have done it.

@Ely: I don't think I will but if I don't I'll have to find some work over the summer.

Yeah, those classes are like that because they're so limited in the summer.

Plus, really, they' ain't worth it. They drain you and you don't want to start over in one week in a new semester.

Yeah, I'd still want a break with an art degree, though, but that's just me.

I'm one of those people who can only take so much of anything before I flip.

Yeah I'm the same way its easy to get burned out with school.

It's worse now that I'm in higher level courses. It's a huge load, and it sucks.

lol at the end of the last set of finals I had three drawing classes O.O

Oh I'm worried about my pro class coming up I hear it SUCKS and the only one who runs it is insanely picky about the strangest stuff.

@Birdie: Sounds like how I felt after my AP Writing test was done. Three handwritten essays in three hours.

Oh, doesn't that suck. I've had those teachers before...you just have to play their game. It's all there is to it.

@Ely: Thats hard to do, when I took one history course I had to write 2 essays and do 10 IDs which is like a paragraph describing a the terms we covered in class and its significance to the course.
