@Ser: Normally I do what you did with books, but my college is irritating. They either want the newest books, or books that are changed in one vital way so that you have to buy the version the college sells. It's quite the idiotic monopoly they've got going. Or brilliant one. Depending on how you look at it. The used version of the book I messed up on was much cheaper than the one on Amazon, though, so I was gonna get it. But they didn't have any so I messed up and bought the new one. Got a refund though.

I hate it when schools do that. I know when I took Psych 101, the Binder that the Community College used was one for the school and they went from Ed. 8 to 9. I had Mike's binder... WHich was Ed. 8. The professor said don't bother gett9ing the new one, we could use the old one.

It's stupid what they do. I'm glad I had profs I did where they would tell us to go to these other places to get books so we could save money.

Nope. I was on UK after my last complaining session, and it switched. As has Australia. I like the new algorithm, but WHAT is the point of getting rid of safesearch off?

You could go to Bing. I think that's my choice now.

I'm gonna hold onto Google as long as I can.. Finnish is the last one for me since that's the last language I can roughly translate. Everything was UK for me for a bit since I type in UK English.
But, now everything is Suomi for now till they take it away from me.

Probably won't be long. It seems they're taking out all the major countries one by one. It was us, then Canada, then Mexico and so on. Hopefully they bring back the no safe search option because I really like the new moderate and strict. Completely keeps out the bad stuff for kids and whatnot, but this isn't kosher.

I know. I would like them to come up with something where the parents can set it so the kids can't change it on their own accounts. Like a password or something.
But, to make us all have to suffer. It's stupid. I think maybe... when I'm a bit more sober (celebrating over what you had seen on my tumblr earlier), I'll try to get people and myself to complain to the company

Which is what people have been doing with tumblr. They did random beta testing on a new posting interface and my tumblr feed has been blowing up over it... And I seem to be the only one who has been randomly testing this, who has not had a conniption fit over it.

Oh, I have the new posting interface as well. I admit...I actually like it a lot. There are some issues, but I'm sure they'll be fixed, but otherwise I love that I don't lose my spot when I reblog something.

Oh, and yes, congrats on the new nephew, I believe is what you were hinting at there. ^.^

I'm sure there's a petition for it somewhere. Porn addicts are suffering.

I don't have a tumblr actually and never saw the point in having one.

@Ely: That is exactly why I like the new interface. I hated how I would have to open reblog in a new tab just so I wouldn't really lose my place.
What I was referring to was something like that. Mike's sister-in-law was pregnant last year and sadly lost the baby at 6 mo in oct (the were expecting a boy) and Mike called me today so his brother could tell me (they came over so they could tell the fam and Mike wanted me to know aroudn teh time they all did) Which is an awesome early b-day gift for his brother who turns 30 Monday and their mom who is celebrating her b-day today. So, we're excited. When Nick told me I almost broke down crying on the phone I am so excited.

Lolz. Tumblr is good for that, too. XD I couldn't believe they allowed X rated stuff like that on Tumblr in the first place when I first joined.

People keep bitching "Oh I went to tumblr to get away from twitter and Facebook, oh how I hate those" blah blah blah. I don't get it, I like how tumblr was working with the beta, I hope they keep it

Yeah, I was talking with the only manager at work I told what happened in October, that they were talking about it and we were hoping they would. What's interesting, is I was thinking about it all today, have been lately since this was the month when she was due with our nephew. And I was a bit depressed still from it. So when I found out, I was so elated and excited. From what they had mentioned over the holidays, the drs will keep a very close eye on her. So, we're hoping for the best. It would be so exciting to see mike when our niece or nephew comes in the Fall :)

I'm admittedly kinda tired tonight, so I think I probably won't post anymore tonight after this reply. Kinda just need to let my brain wind down, but I might pop in right before I go to sleep, I dunno...just worn out today.

But anyway, psssh. Tumblr is enough like facebook. It's raging with just as many idiots, but they're more avoidable and tolerable. The proof is in the pudding with how badly they seem to be reacting to what is actually a good change.

Awh, isn't that how things always work? You think about it all day and then something happens. I'm glad it's a good thing and I really hope the doctors can keep her stable. Maybe they'll have to put her on bedrest in the last trimester, but whatever gets that baby here in good health.

Yeah, I hope so too. I really hope she's able to keep the baby full term. It would be awesome for all of us including them to be able to have this baby come into all of our lives. I'm sure they'll do what they need to do for her to make sure she does.

My dad decided out of the blue to celebrate his birthday today, so we went out to the capital and spent the day there and ate at a nice restaurant.

I ended up buying a really beautiful summery dress in this huge mall we went to, but I'm hoping to wear it this winter with some pants underneath it. ^.^

I'm glad I only have the three classes this semester. This will be manageable.

I actually haven't slacked yet...surprised...I did "accidentally" miss a class on Friday. I got there literally, a fudging single minute late and because it was the first week of class, there was nowhere to sit, so I just didn't go in. Will make sure I'm early on Monday and the rest of the lectures for the next few weeks until enough people drop or start skipping to be able to get a seat without trouble.

I have because of the weekend I had last weekend ^^"

But, I'm doing better, I have today and tomorrow to make up a lot of what I need to do for my classes that is due this week ^^"

I know that feeling ser I got behind on my history homework and forgot to meet my teacher to discuss my essay topic. Luckily I just have to do some readings and then I'll be done.
