Oh well I'm glad things are fine now.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 06:00 AM

On a random note: In a few days you're gonna end up with a picture of a shit load of yoghurt I took in my kitchen with a caption of "holy shit how the hell am I gonna eat all this?!"

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 06:06 AM

Did he apologize...?

I want to see this picture. XD Build them up into a pyramid.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 06:10 AM

yeah, he did apologise in his own way. We talked about it, but he was in a very good mood. Had good games with friends and had a good time with it. So, I'm fine

lol! Yeah, I should. My friend out here told me to send her some. I forgot to mention it's greek. So, we'll see.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 06:14 AM

Mmkay, as long as he redeems himself. [yes]

Ahh, Greek yogurt is yummy if you get the good stuff. There's a brand down here that's local and the blueberry flavor they have is like crack.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 06:22 AM

Yeah, good thing I like it ^^ Gonna have almost a month's worth. I went shopping and didn't buy any on Saturday because I had a hunch his dad was gonna say something about having mike see if I wanted any. My response is to this: yeah sure, pass up free yoghurt. Oh no, not at all. :P I would love a shit ton of it

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 06:28 AM

Hahaha, never challenge a yogurt shop owner by saying you want a shitton of it. XD

serena yuy 02-11-2013 06:30 AM

lol! Yeah. The company his dad works for gives them so freaking much. Oh well, of all the food manufacturing companies his dad could have worked for, glad he works for a yoghurt plant.
I'm more than willing to have mike bring me a bunch if it means them not having so freaking much at home.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 06:40 AM

Well, that Greek yogurt is really expensive stuff, so it's a pretty nice gift even if they are just getting out of their refrigerator!

serena yuy 02-11-2013 06:52 AM

lol yeah. I'll buy it at the store, but it'll be nice to have some without having to get any for awhile.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 06:54 AM

I'm such a food lover. I'd probably be really happy no matter what food somebody brought me.

Seriously. You want love? Bring me Chinese takeout once in awhile so I don't have to cook. XD

serena yuy 02-11-2013 07:12 AM

Oh same here. That's something I like about having a job, I can buy the stuff I need for making food, but also to buy food when I don't feel like cooking.
O.O oooo I just remembered something, Mike said he'll make me food too. He's making something tomorrow for his family for dinner that he'd like to make for me while he's here. That and he said he really would like to cook me some things while he's here. :) He's not much of a cook like I am, but I do love it when he cooks. He really tries and really wants to know how to cook so we can cook together and so he can cook food for us sometime so I don't have to do it all the time.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 07:47 AM

Awhhh, that's so sweet.

I really do like to cook, but it can get to be such a pain. It would be really great for me if I were to end up spending my life with somebody who can cook. Or at the very least not be so bad at it that it's like being poisoned if I try to eat their food. XD I don't mind teaching people how to cook, either, so if they start out with mediocre skills I can turn them into something. ^.^

But yeah, I really appreciate/like it when people cook for me. I am SUCH a Taurus.

Frankly, I'd probably marry the dude on the spot if I came home to a four course meal with a dessert and wine even once.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 07:58 AM

Oh I know. I love cooking and such, but it's nice every so often for someone to cook for me. So, I really do love it when he makes something for me. Even if it's something so simple as eggs or pasta. He likes testing food out on his family first before making it for me because he would like to make sure it's perfect. Plus he knows he can trust my opinion. I may hide my true thoughts to make sure people are happy (such a Libra), but with him I know he wants me to be completely honest with stuff and not sugar coat it, so I make sure to tell him how it really was. So, he values my opinion the most since he knows I will tell him what he needs and wants to hear when it comes to his cooking.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 08:03 AM

Ach, I test food out on people all the time. It's one of my absolute favorite passtimes. I rarely make a total stinker of a meal, though, so it's not like the people I test my food out on generally dread it.

I always give people a plate of whatever new food I've made, and then stare at them intently while they take the first couple of bites waiting for the reaction. XD

serena yuy 02-11-2013 08:21 AM

Yeah, I do the same. Mike told me tonight he really can't trust his parents to really say anything when he cooks, he said they'll always say something like it was good. Other than me, he knows he can trust his brother and the two of them will tell each other if there was something wrong with what the other made.

JediMercJeff 02-11-2013 02:03 PM

Cooking. I cannot do that. *smirk*

And I don't have the free memory to learn at this point.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 04:55 PM

I can't trust my parents with my food either. My dad always tells me that what I made was great, and then criticizes it on some later date when he feels like I'll care less or something.

My mom just doesn't like anything other than beef and cheddar cheese.

JediMercJeff 02-11-2013 05:04 PM

I'm usually relied on to critique the food. And I usually do a good job of that. *nod*

Not bad, considering I can't really cook myself. Heh.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 07:02 PM

Yeah. I'm from a family that cooks, so I'm usually relied on by mike to help him with cooking and with critiquing cooking.

JediMercJeff 02-11-2013 07:17 PM

Heh. Yeah, the whole family seems to have some cooking skill.

Except me. I'm not -completely- hopeless in the kitchen, but... Yeah.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 07:33 PM

My dad is the one who didn't really cook much.
My mom cooked when she had off from work, my brother is a chef, and I bake more than cook. But, Mike loves my cooking an dbaking. So, hes a happy man.

ElysiumFate 02-11-2013 08:11 PM

Hey, if you can boil a potato and manage to actually not burn toast every now and then, I won't give you too much shit, Jedi. XD

JediMercJeff 02-11-2013 08:27 PM

@Ely: The burning of toast happens less often than not... But the potato thing... Not so sure. Heh.

serena yuy 02-11-2013 09:21 PM

I've burnt stuff in the broiler at mine and dad's old apartment. It didn't work too well ^^"
