Ugh. Well. If I'm like, epically, freaking, stinking, horribly unlucky, I'm going to have to miss a test, take a zero for it, and let it be the one that gets dropped this semester just to do this jury duty.

Plus if you do have to go in for jury duty, your school should let you and your professor should let you take the test another day.

Yeah, they should let me take it a day prior to the test everyone else is taking. One of my syllabi said that jury duty was grounds for taking a test on another date.

Yeah Jury Duty is one of those things no one can really argue with you about, there's no way they would just zero you unless they were some kind of evil professor

oh no Ser I hate that when I have someone coming over and I feel like my place is a mess. Some of my co workers want to start a D&D group and wanted it at my place and I just instantly pictured this HUGE mess these three boys would make.

Oh I know, even though it's just Mike. It doesn't make it any less "argh!!! my room/house is a mess!!!"

I used to get really picky about cleanliness and stuff when I knew people were coming over, but not so much anymore.

I make sure that the bathrooms are spotless, and the kitchen is presentable, and then I make sure there's nothing unmentionable lying around the rest of the place and that's about it. If there's a little clutter or some questionable organization people are just going to have to deal with it.

Yeah I try to clean when i can I'm normmally good when it comes to doing dishes.

I try to pick up something every day. That way everything is mostly clean without having to do one huge splurge of cleaning.

HEY! I love how right after I started hangin' out on here again, I got ridiculously sick for a couple days and then have been spending tons of time trying to catch up on everything I missed. But hey! Speaking of cleaning, my room's a disaster since everything needs cleaning. And my friend crashes in my dorm on Thursdays during her class break...so I really don't know how this is gonna work. Hopefully I'll wake up in the morning with enough time to run a couple loads of pillows and sheets. :)

Ach, that sucks. I've been coming on pretty late just because I'm so stressed with tests and stuff. Shit just got real with these junior/senior level classes.

I need to hang up some clothes and clean out my bathroom before they get into such a state that it takes days to clean them when I could do it in a couple hours right now.

lol I've already degraded that far. I've had SO much homework to do, and then my family keeps dragging me away -- I REALLY need to tell them to just leave me alone and let me do my thing...except right now probably not because my brother just had surgery so idk. -- that anything cleaning-wise has taken the backburner.

Welp. Should probably try to go get some pillows/blankets in the wash. Which would be so much easier if I still had a hamper seeing as I'm on 5th floor and laundry is on 1. )<
