I don't necessarily want an old Victorian, I just want a new house that looks like it.
But that's my dream. That's always been one of my dreams, so I can't help but strive for it. [yes] I don't like to move much, so I'd be very happy to find that house, and live my days in it with the people I love, ya know? Idealistic, but it's what I've always wanted. At least for awhile. |
lol Oh I would XD unless they could find me an Art Nouveau home like Hearst Castle XD
but it's not the age, it's the size XP I realized I don't really want to take more then two hours to clean my whole home. It is a lovely dream, and if I could find that property and had the money I would still be all over it XD besides I think it's good to aim high as long as you can still be satisfied if you only fall a bit short XD |
I'd do a lot of things just to make sure I didn't fall short on this one. It may not be just like I dreamed, but it can come close. I really want that garden, and I'm okay with cleaning. I worry more about the cost of replacing things that break and such.
Well it be more like being patient and really scouring the listings. Honestly though isn't that far off, there's tons of home like that. When me and russ drive to the coast we always point out the properties we like the most as "perspetive homes in case of zombie Apocalypse XD
Lolz, that's cute. Get yourself out into the country for one. [lol]
Okay, I'm going to sleep after this post, I'm getting tired. >.> |
indeed FAR away from others and grow my own food. Hopefully the chickens and goats are unaffected XD
Night night |
Hello, everyone. What's shaking??
Not much just loving the new back ground and pretending I'm a fairy god mother on a tropical land XD
"Welcome to fantasy island" XD |
I love the theme of your avatar Bound you look like a fairy godmother.
Trying to put off studying as much as possible, got an exam tomorrow :O
XD YAY good guess that's what I'm going for, like "the NEW fairy godmother ~ I ain't just glass slippers and curfew anymore"
I know what you mean Wagon... Gotta study too. Though no test... Just don't want to deal with it.
serena yuy: I've been pretty good, I normally put off studying til the night before but I've been putting a few hours in every day this week. Too bad it still isn't going to help, this exam covers so much material :/ At least I'm in good company though, all my classmates are expecting to fail it too! :(
well hope for a good curve then?
Nah, Birdie. There's always that one bastard that gets 100 and ruins the curve.
I've had a lot of those tests recently wagon, I feel your pain. |
Bound Birdie: Nope, no curve :O My school does tests a little different, you have the Friday exam every two weeks that you have to get 90% on to pass. If you don't pass that there's Monday morning re-exam, and if you still don't pass that you have to try one last time at the end of the semester in what's called Extended Learning. They explained their reasoning as they want to make sure we master the material (hence the 90% required to pass) but they aren't out to weed anyone out since we've already been through plenty of that in undergrad and the application/interview process. It's different, but I agree with the idea behind it completely. I mean, do you want a pharmacist that got C's in all his classes or one that had to try a couple times to prove he mastered the material?
Oh no I totally get you. You can't really make a mistake because if you tell someone "yeah you can take aspirin with that" and your wrong, then you killed them, you know depending, but many times yes.
I would actually like that system...it could be a pain in the ass, but you'd certainly learn stuff.
Well if you think about it they need almost as much training as a doctor so that's WAY to much schooling to just be like "oops you fail don't pass go don't collect $200"
ElysiumFate: Yeah it seemed pretty scary at first but we've kind of come to look at the Friday exams as a practice exam and the Monday re-exam as the real one. I've only had to re-exam three times and this will be our 12th exam, so I'm doing alright. Of course, there's always that one guy that hasn't had to re-exam a single time D: that could be me if I actually studied more than the night before though lol
Bound Birdie: Yeah, that's another reason lol they probably also want us to stay here so they can keep taking our money :O |
lol well it is a business after all XD what else does the world revolve around?
Yeah, I get that wagon. I hate the people who get 100s all the time. But you're doing really well, and you sound like me. "If I just studied more I'd easily be the top of the class." Blah blah, haha.
ElysiumFate: But it's true! lol yeah I know I tend to do that a lot, I was only 1 point off on two of the exams though! :O I think I was 5 points off on the third one, that one definitely kicked my ass haha
Bound Birdie: Yeah when I did my undergrad it was at a public university, they didn't really care who passed or failed since they still had plenty of income. But my pharmacy school is a private, for-profit school, so they want to keep as many people in it as they can while still maintaining some sort of standard. We started off as a class of 100 but we lost 5 people so far after 1 semester due to failing exams or personal reasons. |
brb dinner time XD
Oh, I wasn't being sarcastic, wagon. I'm totally the same way, but I never change. >.> XD
