I am learning NOTHING in this class.
I have concluded that if I do not pass the midterm, I will resign from this class too and drop to 6 credits.
I can't do this shit to myself.

I'm at that I don't care anymore state. I'm doing that bad in my opinion.
The thing is, I don't have many options to try to improve my grade if I don't do well on the midterm. The midterm, final, final paper, and the 2 graded assignments are very crutial.

Ahh, those classes are a pain, but still, give it your very best. You're getting to the point where that is a lot of money wasted.

yeah on your transcript no one is going to care if it's a C, as long as your not out 300 to 1000 bucks for the class

I had a math teacher like that. I hated him and the way he taught, I suffered through it and STILL almost want to take the class again because I still don't grasp the materiel

I had a professor once who ran a girl out of the room crying on the first day. THAT is a professor who deserves to lose their tenure, but of course not.

Of course I don't want anyone to lose their jobs and stuff, but that's just not okay. That poor girl. She really needed a hug.

But we're all burnt out Ser. Just do your best--summer is not that far away, and spring break is very close.

Yeah, I'm trying. Yeah, Spring break is in a few weeks, but even that's not going to be much of a break with all of these things I need to catch up on :/

*grimaces* That's a really shitty professor. I hope the evals they got got them at least demoted. If that many people are outright failing, it's just not their fault.

@Ser: You can do it, girl. Just make sure you work extra hard to get everything in on time and such. You'll be grateful to have these classes out of the way, and not moved to a later date to be retaken.

ElysiumFate: Nope, he was tenured and actually very respected as a researcher. He published quite a few papers and got all sorts of grants and accolades and whatnot for the university. He was just terrible as a teacher. He would teach us the basics and then on exams expect us to be able to synthesize those basics into advanced concepts he'd never introduced. It's akin to teaching someone the alphabet and then asking them to write a paper. I mean come on, the first day of class he said we had one week to memorize the entire periodic table and we were tested on it! :O

Oh I know.
Thankfully all but 2 of the assignments aren't graded to be counted towards the final grade and most of those I spend a day a week with 2 other classmates working on the assignments and we 3 will sit there trying to figure it all out then.

I just don't comprehend most of what is being said in this class. Thankfully I'm only taking 3 classes, and yeah this one will dip my GPA down a lot from where it is now, but I can handle it. Plus it's not like bosses are gonna look at the GPA, they only care about the fact I have the degree and if I can do the job.

I just had the worst "I'm not using my brain for more than a hat rack" moment. My subscribed threads said that the most recent post in this thread was at 12:48am (that would be you, serena) and I honestly thought "But it is only 11:48 am. How was it 12:48am when serena posted?? Am I suddenly living is a paradoxical world??" And then I remembered that midnight is 12am and noon is 12pm and felt really stupid.

Hahaha, I've done that before, Mehi. Don't feel bad. I seriously had a mental go of it trying to figure it out, too. I was wayyyy too tired that day, I think.

See, I don't even have the excuse of being tired. And.....I HATE BSOD!!!!!!! My computer is sucking today more tan it normally does....*sad face*
