@Ely - Yeah, the industry is full of alcoholics and drug addicts. Most of the drug use at campus is uppers (the curriculum is REALLY intense), but it's really very safe. There are tons of tourists (it's like Disney Land for old people) so people are very well behaved. It's just pretty intense behind closed doors.

@dev - "Too much?"? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I've changed my major about three times now, and I really need to just settle down and work on my stuff so I can graduate.

No dev, you're still too young for me to take out. :P

@Yosuke - That's one thing I wish I could change about my school. There aren't any gen. ed. classes to take. They're all food related. I would love to be able to take an abnormal psych class, or a language, or a science class. I love all of that stuff, but can't take any of those classes because they aren't offered. :-/

Oh wait the drinking age in Europe is 18...*twitch*

@Ely - I really do love my school. I was worried I would change my mind, but I fall more in love with baking every single day. And there's a whole world people don't know about chefs. It's really humorous.

Turtle: That sucks but at least community colleges are usually on the affordable side and do offer those types of classes for really cheap during the summer (mainly for people who want to take it for fun). c:

@Sea: That's good. That's good. And Yosuke is right. :yes: I'm going to a community college now before I transfer to my state university basically because I'm doing general courses to get my desire for them out of my system before I move on to having to study nothing but medical crapola.

@Yosuke - I'd considered that. The workload is really intense at school, so I couldn't do it during our regular academic year, and we only get 3 weeks off in the summer. When I get out into the work force I'll probably start taking classes somewhere else though.
