Haha, I think Mar was just saying that she hadn't subscribed originally, saw my siggy and was like "Oh yeah..." then she subscribed. I'm sure it's all set now, lol!

Winter. Yay~

Marguerite Blakeney 11-09-2010 03:14 PM

I woke up and it's cold. Forgot to do Japanese homework but it shouldn't be too much to do right now. Just need to get in "awake" mode.

HappyStarr 11-09-2010 04:18 PM

lol I'm ~still~ awake. Since yesterday. With occasional dozings. Which is probably irritating the heck out of my classmates because I have to keep asking what happened, how to do things and so on. T^T My project totally wasn't even worth the effort I put into it. I feel so ashamed of myself. :gonk:

BlackCart29 11-09-2010 04:27 PM

@Mar: Awake! Switch on! Plus, Japanese homework is fun! (JK, I still need to do mine)

@Happy: I'm sorry your project didn't turn out like you wanted! What happened?

Marguerite Blakeney 11-09-2010 04:45 PM

Well at least we're both going through the same thing, BC <3 There's also a video project I have to do Thursday afternoon conversating with a friend via webcam and recording it so I can send it to the teacher (due Friday). Not cool. Obviously we have to use the forms that we learned in class this semester.

HappyStarr 11-09-2010 05:32 PM

lol I just suck at Digital Art is alll.... Specifically of the 3-Dimensional kind. Especially in programs that are specially programmed to attack beginners. D<

Marguerite Blakeney 11-09-2010 05:34 PM

What do you use? One of my friends prefers Blender. Apparently his 3D style hasn't changed because it still looks amateurish and he's been using it for approximately eight or nine years.

Pearl 11-09-2010 05:37 PM

I have dabbled in digital art, my motivation being pixel gold, but I'm simply not an artist.

I was good at art until about the age of 14, when I was suddenly outstripped by a number of better people, and I realised I'd better hang up my paint brush.

Some skills aren't possessed by everyone.

BlackCart29 11-09-2010 06:05 PM

@Pearl: Everyone has something there good at artistically. For example I can't draw, but I make greeting cards that will rock your world, just find your niche.

@Mar: That stinks! I just realized I have a vocab test today that I haven't studied for!

@Happy: That stinks! You're new avi is tres cute though.

Marguerite Blakeney 11-09-2010 06:06 PM

Post and then study?

BlackCart29 11-09-2010 06:47 PM

Haha, I like how you want me to post first, RP first, school second huh Mar? lmfao

Marguerite Blakeney 11-09-2010 08:24 PM

That's how I do :D

HappyStarr 11-09-2010 11:41 PM

Mar: We've been working in Autodesk Maya the past couple of weeks. And believe me, if that program were a person, I'd have killed her. That's how mean it is to me. :gonk: I've just never gotten digital art. I've been trying my best at it for years, with little to none improvement. Meanwhile, my design and drawing skills drastically improve overtime.

Pearl: I totally agree with BC. Everyone has different creative skills. Art isn't necessarily about drawing someone to look like an exact replica of their real selves. Especially now since Photography is so huge: what's the point? Yes, being able to do so shows great craftsmanship but that isn't all art is about these days. x3

BC: THANK YOU! ^_^ Totally gearing up for the last Harry Potter movie. Except nobody recognizes poor Hufflepuffs.

TaiyoTsuki 11-10-2010 01:19 AM

I'm back on and not looking forward to the holiday background.

BlackCart29 11-10-2010 03:07 AM

That's right the new HP movie comes out soon! Oh the excitement!

Holiday BG?

I was just locked out of my room for 45 minutes. Downside of college (or having a shitty roommate...either one)

TaiyoTsuki 11-10-2010 03:12 AM

Try getting yourself locked out of your room four times in two days...

BlackCart29 11-10-2010 03:14 AM

I've only been locked out of my room three times in the last two years, I hate it so much though.

Marguerite Blakeney 11-10-2010 03:28 AM

I got locked out of my room on Saturday morning when we were in a hurry to leave the house. Was very tempted to go up the ladder to break the screen of my windows but they were both closed and the ladder was too short. Eventually we found a master key that unlocked everything o.o and I didn't know it existed. But the feeling suuuuuucks!

TaiyoTsuki 11-10-2010 03:44 AM

What's bad is that not only do I not have a roomie, I've got the most abysmal luck out there.

BlackCart29 11-10-2010 03:59 AM

Arg, I don't even want to think about it a moment more! I'm sorry that's happened to all of us!

Marguerite Blakeney 11-10-2010 04:05 AM

Well at least on the upside, we're not alone!

TaiyoTsuki 11-10-2010 04:14 AM

True, true...

*goes back to dreading the holidays*

BlackCart29 11-10-2010 04:17 AM

lmfao, Taiyo don't be so gloomy~ The holidays can be nice, plus we have a fun winter event to look forward too, even if you don't enjoy Christmas and the like.

TaiyoTsuki 11-10-2010 04:55 AM

I won't have a place to stay for Christmas. That'll take away from any kind of fun.
