This is why I'm happy I live off campus... wouldn't want my kid introduced to that kind of environment anyway.

I hate having to live in a hallway full of girls. Too much drama and too many hormones. Especially when a group of them are on the rag. -.- I really hate it. This is why I can't wait till I graduate and when either my boyfriend or I go into gradschool and have to live out there (for either of us for our programs they don't have schools that offer them in our homecity- no law schools in Rochester NY yet (him) and the only schools in NYS that offer Library Science for a gradschool program are either in Albany or University of Buffalo.)
I really hate it on campus especially if I'm stuck with a roommate like I have now. But oh well. I'll be done soon.

I don't know how they do rooming during the summer, but I heard from my floor's cleaning lady that she thinks they have us rooming in one of the other dorms. So, yeah. If I have to move and if I'm doing summer classes for the first 2 weeks of the summer holiday, I get to either a- ask friends or b- see if my boyfriend can come down and help me move stuff. Really throws a damper on stuff that I don't have a license let alone a car. -.- Eh, we'll see, I don't even know what's going on with my aid at the moment. I still have to get info from my dad. -.- I hate how I have to keep pestering him.

Yeah, sounds like it's a mess. Well I hope things get better in grad school. I'm only going to a community college, so I don't even think they offer room and board... but luckily that's part of what my tuition pays for... supposed to make it so I can work less and take more classes... but I don't see that happening.

Oh it is a bit of a mess. The reason why we get shoved into different dorms for the summer sessions is because they have groups that come here for music and such that they would like to keep in the same buildings just them. I had friends who were here for the month of July for some singing camp they do here every year and they live on campus and it's just the group of students for that in the building. I know Mary said that she has 2 weeks (the 2 weeks I would still be here- 16-27 May) to clean the entire building to get it ready for String Quartet- I'm guessing some other music thing they have here-- We're known for our music program here.

I did talk to my dad. But when I talked to him, the site for the state grant was having a bad moment and was having problems, so I had to wait to do it till now, but my dad's not home. So I have to wait for him to get home to do it.

That should be entertaining.

He did call me and we did go through some of the stuff I needed, but he didn't have all of his paperwork together. The envelope he got from the H&R Block people that had his returns in it, he set it somewhere and has no clue. When he called me it was 8pm and he has to be in bed at 9 because he gets up for work at 1am, and it was pretty dark in the room he left it in even with the light on. ^^" So I get to wait till tomorrow evening. -.-
This is annoying me, I don't have that much time to wait for things. I need the aid to be approved and noted that it is coming by the 2nd of May or I'm not taking any classes this summer. -.- which throws me off a lot but thankfully I put down needing aid for the Spring 2012 semester just in case.

I'm hoping I can still do the summer classes, I would like to get these classes out of the way and if I have to move to another dorm. I have friends that can help me. ^^

I'm still screwing around with my summer classes. They're so friggin' complicated.

Most of them are only offered as online courses and I want nothing to do with that crud, but I want to do classes bad. I just...like to keep myself busy and have a reason to get out of the house.

I would like to do online classes so I can go home. But I run into the problem of- I have no clue if dad had the cable company come yet and hook up a router so we can have more than one computer hooked up to the internet. That and the classes I need to take are all not online.

Yeah. I'm hoping to get a job or do some volunteering at the library by me so I'm not stuck in the house doing nothing all summer while my boyfriend is at work during the day. :/

I've never done online courses and all my friends who have done them bring me back horror stories like..."oh, I didn't know when ANYTHING was due! So I failed!!!" or "You didn't know what to study...when...or why...and the instructor was no bloody help!" I also don't think I'd have the motivation to do an online course if it didn't have strict guidelines. We talked about this the other day, lol. I'd be sitting there the week before doing five months worth of work. Haha.

I volunteered at the library all through middle school and a year in high school. I then did a project for the library via Girl Scouts during the last two summers. (Girl Scout Gold Award) I'm bored with libraries, lol. I'd rather get paid for the work I do for them or just be done with them except for being a consumer.

I'm going to start offering myself up on the job market. I just have the worst case of wanderlust this year and I'm also sick of being around my rentals 24/7.

Working in a library or a bookstore would be the best kind of summer job for me. I'm such a bookworm!

I don't like working in libraries. I don't know what it is. I'm a book-nerd and I love to write but the idea of being a librarian really does not appeal to me and I get insulted every time my mum tells me that's what I should be....I do not want to be the one shelving the books...I'd rather be writing them, editing them, publishing them! Mmmm. That would be a really nice job.

I would love to work in a bookstore, but where I live it's nasty hard to get a job in one. They don't have much turnover.

Bookstores here are much the same way. And I agree with you... I'd rather be writing/publishing/editing them than shelving and helping people find them after. While I don't think I'd mind being surrounded by the atmosphere... It would never be enough money to support me and mine.

I can't wait to be done with my internship. I'm growing to hate it more and more.

A company that promotes local sustainable tourism but we basically do nothing but annoy people with advertisements. I was supposed to start early and was told there would be plenty of work for me. There hasn't been. I'm fed up with them and not getting any answers to my questions.

I want to be a librarian, so I'm not sick of them yet. :D

Yeah, I'm thankful I don't have to do online classes, it would be nice, but annoying too since I would prefer to sit in a class room and listen to the professor explain stuff. Easier than not having that.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. I don't have anything to do tonight besides relax, read, and exercise. I am so happy I can't even put it into words.

Lucky. I have to do my Spanish homework that's due on Tue at 11.59pm and then work on the rough draft. :/ All while making sure I don't go Battousai on my roommate over the chicken in the fridge. That's been in there since last sunday and then opened last week and left in there with 2 other pieces of chicken in there since last week. :/

I had mega homework last night. Ugh. I only got four hours of sleep. Admittedly this was my fault, but I wasn't -quite- aware how much I had, so today I'm exhausted.

I took four years of Spanish. I hated the language so much that I didn't retain much of it though.

I took it in highschool and got permission to take it again in college because of the long period of time between taking the state exam and now. Plus I only got a 75 on the state exam.

Yeah, that'll be me Wednesday. I have my rough draft due wednesday at 4 and need to get it done by then. ^^"

Yup, more raw chicken. only this time in fridge. Well freezer of mini fridge that does not freeze anything and she left it open in the freezer. -.- Ugh.

I don't know what I'd get if I took the exam. I always got A's in Spanish, but that was only because the course allowed you to cram study and then forget everything the next day. We were never really required to show that we retained the information.

Just finished doing eight hours of work for my internship.

Nope. she does not. I told her the time she threw it out in the room it was making me sick and she looked at me and said in her annoying voice "it was making you sick?" So, yeah, she doesn't understand. If she throws a tantrum tomorrow after I throw out the chicken and leave her the note she always bitches about. I'm putting my foot down and telling her she's not allowed to buy raw meat for the rest of the semester. Unless she cooks it the day she buys it. Basically- She's not allowed to put raw meat in MY fridge for the rest of the semester. She can still use the fridge because of the milk she has in there- she eats cereal the days she works (she gets up at 5am 3 times a week for work so it's bad enough she's so "tired" and may cut herself because of it, I'm not taking away eating food.


I didn't do well on the state exam so I wasn't able to get exempt from taking a language in college. I figured since my career will be working with the public and there are a lot of Spanish speaking people coming, I should take the language again to brush up on it and maybe continue after I graduate from here after taking the first and second classes of the language. ^^

@Ser: She's a cutter too? I'm really sorry. Out of all the weird "obsessions" or whatever you'd like to call it, in the world, I think that cutting is one of the most disturbing, wrong, and unjustifiable of them all.

I have a friend who cuts, and it's impossible to convince her that what she's doing is wrong. There's nothing anyone can do about it either because a) I'm neither close to her or fond of her, and b) her parents know and don't do anything. /sigh

No not a cutter as in self mutiliation. She may cut herself while she's cutting fruit because she's so tired or whatever she may not pay attention and hurt herself while cutting fruit. ^^" sorry bout that. I forgot to mention she works with food at Central Prep cutting fruit for the food places and putting together the prepared food we get.
