I'm odd, I like being alone.
Have you not had a good relationship in the past?
Nothing's really been particularly good or bad. There were bad moments, sure, but I wouldn't rate anything as a complete disaster.
I see. Nothing good or bad, would lead to a bit of apathy I think. I've recently had a couple of really good relationships. I'm still friends with the girls too. I just want to find someone I really click with, because I'm honestly happier that way.
Guess I just haven't been bitten by anyone who comes anywhere near the way I feel about things that are important to me. I'm a passionate person and I like my partners to be too.
It is nice to have someone who is passionate... I've found most of my partners less so than I. But I'm German, Irish, English, Welsh, and Italian who was born in the American west so... Kinda hard to match that on any subject. lol.
I tend to be pretty apathetic when it comes to most things but there are a few that make me go batshit insane.
such as? My top five are:
1.people who call themselves Christian and then act like total assholes. 2.People who stop in the middle of store aisles and don't let anyone pass. 3.Self-righteous douchebags who think that theirs is the only valid view point. 4.Teachers who don't know what they're teaching. 5.The fact that no one actually looks at the "science" around global warming. There's more, these are just the general spectrum. lol. |
Well I meant batshit crazy as in over positive things but those definitely throw me into fits of rage :P
lol. Well in terms of happy.
1.finding out another person is also a nerd. 2.Meeting girls who aren't obsessed with being skinny skinny. 3.Finding people with the mental ability to actually debate with me on an intellectual level. 4.Meeting others who can talk to me about cooking, anime, sci-fi, writing, etc. 5. ...Conventions. :D |
I had a huge nerd moment today because of this...
Brainless box jellyfish know which way is up - life - 28 April 2011 - New Scientist I was all amounts of crazy excited and telling everyone  Cooking and writing are fun, makes me sad that I just don't have the time for it. |
Hey, at least you think about it. Most people don't even read anymore, much less write. It's kinda really sad.
I love reading, it's another thing I wish I had time for. At least once I'm out of school and have a job to support my book buying habit then I'll be all set.
lol. indeed. I have a lot of books which I need to get read. I bought them, and then never finished them.
I have a few I'm working through at home, mostly classics.
Ah. "A classic is something everyone wants to have read, but no one wants to read." -Mark Twain. lol. And I agree totally.
I just haven't had the time with school, work, and my internship. I'm working through a set of 5 or 6 H.G. Wells books.
Ah, well he's not bad... or technically considered a classic. He's classic sci-fi though, so that's awesome. :)
Classic is classic, whether it be sci-fi or not :P
lol. but the ones people call "Classics" are crap like to kill a mockingbird, and other depressing novels from before people understood compelling plot lines. lol.
I've never read that.
I had to four times. XD It made me wanna die. I hate that tripe. I also don't like anything by Dickens aside from A Christmas Carrol.
I've never read any of his work either. Didn't do much at my schools.
I LOVE To Kill a Mockingbird. I wish my father had been like Atticus.
Dickens is REALLY boring though. Even a Christmas Carol, although it's better than most. I tend to read a mix of new and classic books. I just finished Dune, I'm reading the Dresden Files (book 2, Fool Moon) and the Wind-Up Bird Chronicles. I finished A Brave New World in December, I believe. It's not the best written book but the ideas are fantastic. ---------- Also, I see you lurking BlackCart. |
Brave new world is good. I like dystopian literature.
