It's snowing here. Got six inches last night. Going to go play in it later!

Captain Pains 12-04-2010 01:11 AM

Apparently it might snow tomorrow. Very excited about that. It snows rarely here. And tomorrow is a very special day to me so if it does snow, it will be the perfect final touch. c:

I really wish our locations were visible near our avatars if we chose to show them...then I could track who's getting snow where lol

TaiyoTsuki 12-04-2010 05:32 AM

@ Pains: Who's Emilie Autumn?

Captain Pains 12-04-2010 05:38 AM

Taiyo :: She's my favorite musical artist, poet, and writer. Her music is industrial, but she's labeled it "Victoriandustrial". Her music is rather, different but rather nice to listen to. I suggest listening to some of her music. And her poetry is amazing. Along with her violin skills~

TaiyoTsuki 12-04-2010 06:15 AM

Really? I'll have to check it our then. I just asked because I thought her clothing style.

Captain Pains 12-04-2010 06:21 AM

She makes all her clothing, props and hair extensions too. She so creative. I wish I had her sewing skills.

Hello all...I've finished my studies for the year and nervously waiting for results....how is everyone?

BlackCart29 12-04-2010 06:32 AM

Alright! Back for the night! So tired though -______-

Sounds like everyone's having a good night! No snow here, only RAIN. No fun.

@Ling: hey~ Good luck on your results.

TaiyoTsuki 12-04-2010 06:43 AM

Ugh, rain. We got drenched where I am this past Monday. And here I am forgetting my umbrella in my dorm room. Guess who got drenched.

Captain Pains 12-04-2010 06:54 AM

It rained here on Monday as well. During the day it was on an off, but at night it just kept pounding away. In a few county's away from mine there was a tornado warning and my friend was panicking. But nothing happened. But now it might snow tomorrow night. So excited for that. ^^

Ling :: I'm doing fine. Just waiting to get sleepy so I can go to bed. How are you? c:

TaiyoTsuki 12-04-2010 07:58 AM

I like snow, just not the near- or below-zero temps that come with it at home. Yick.

Captain Pains 12-04-2010 08:27 AM

Eh. I wish snow didn't require cold. I don't like the cold at all.

TaiyoTsuki 12-04-2010 08:42 AM

Me neither.

And I now know how to make an origami gun.

Congrats!

I'm alright. It's getting cold in CT so I'm glad my mom bought me a coat last week. I have my last week of classes then exams.

Hey I'm folding origami cranes for my story presentation this week!

BlackCart29 12-04-2010 08:13 PM

Morning er'rebody! Saturday! Alright! How're you guys today?

Personally I'm just hungry since I slept through breakfast and lunch -____________-

ReineDeLaSeine14 12-04-2010 08:23 PM

Haha i just woke up from an awesome nap and ate two ice cream bars lol. I've been watching Harry Potter all day and now am trying to take care of a situation. Meh not the way to end an awesome nap

fairywaif 12-04-2010 09:36 PM

Ooh, ice cream bars. I can't have any in my fridge because it's not cooling properly and they would melt!

What kind of situation, if I may ask?

ReineDeLaSeine14 12-04-2010 09:46 PM

She has the same disability I do (Ehlers-Danlos) and her sister has had really bad anger issues because she's been sick for so long so she's been beating her and telling her to kill herself. Really freaking nasty crap. She needs to get the fuck out of her house but she has a lot of medical problems and SSI really isn't enough for someone to live on.

fairywaif 12-04-2010 09:55 PM

No, it's really not enough to live on. That's terrible. That sounds really bad. They have section 8(?) (not sure of the number) housing for disabled people. If she can get on that she might be able to at least pay for rent.

ReineDeLaSeine14 12-04-2010 10:17 PM

Section 8 takes YEARS to get on. I know people here in CT who have been waiting for a decade. I live with my parents which isn't always healthy either but with $449 a month where am I supposed to go? Even with room mates I live in the most expensive state in the US. Because I never worked after age 21 I don't have any work credits to use towards SSDI eligibility. My friend will probably need to go to a nursing home as her medical problems are much much more severe than mine.

Hyena 12-04-2010 11:32 PM

G'morning, people who are probably younger than me. =u=

TaiyoTsuki 12-05-2010 12:46 AM

*pops in* Hiyas!

BlackCart29 12-05-2010 12:50 AM

Hello everyone, (interesting young people comment Hyena, lol)

Hyena 12-05-2010 12:55 AM

(My birthday was last weekend, and since this is the college-age thread, and I graduated almost a year ago... -shrug- xD)
