My grandpa is in the hospital with a deadly infection, and I am very upset and scared. :(

I don't know if he'll be okay; and I just start randomly crying. He has cancer, and they just told us it was going into remission. And now this. Its bullshit.
And I know we'll be fine, but I feel like a bitch. >< |
Cancer is utter bullshit, man. My grandfather had it too. Leukemia if I remember correctly (I was quite young when he died) and he also got Alzheimer's. It was really sad to see him remember his ten year old granddaughter, but not his wife of 60 some years. :no:

I was talking about...if this kills my grandpa, that I don't think I can be strong for everyone, like my mom, and he said that my mom is the one that needs to be strong for me and that she needed to take care of me, not the other way around (because he was worried about me) and I got all defensive of my mom and yelled at him. ._. I told him that I don't give a damn if I have to take care of her for a while since she has always taken care of me. I got mad at him for caring about me.
He said he's fine, but I still feel horrible. |
You're in a bad position in life right now, I'm sure he understands that your nerves are on end. Unfortunately we (as humans) tend to take our fears and worries out on our loved ones because we know they love us and most likely won't desert us like a simple fair weather floozy of a friend would.
Besides, you're still in the very beginning stages of your relationship together...I doubt that either of you fully understands which buttons cannot and can be pushed in situations like this. You're still learning, and mistakes will be made. :yes: It's just knowing that and overcoming it that you've got to do. ---------- I also get it's probably hard not to see his reaction in person...I understand that very well. Just do your best to trust each other, because that's all you've got in an LDR. |
