Animals are so expensive sometimes. They're great when they're healthy, but when they're not, it sucks.

Yeah I know what you mean. My cat is a diabetic. To get him regulated is expensive. So were his vet visits. But, once he is regulated, it's not too bad.
Getting the food and such is expensive too.

I think I'll be able to afford a cat or two when I move out, but never a dog. God. I went shopping with one of my friends (who has 4 dogs) once and the amount of food they had to buy for those things was insane.

I'm ok with dogs but I prefer a cat more. I love my friends dogs to but I guess its a dominative thing with females.

I like my aunt's dog...well two of my aunts have wonderful doggies. :D My friend has a little Papillon, and I like it, but its breath smells monstrously bad.

I hate the fact that we're kind of broke after my cat having to go to the vet and the diabetes thing because my mom keeps buying crappy dollar store canned food. She doesn't pay attention to the ingredient list except to see if it has fish in it and still she misses it because it's "ooo beef and liver, there wouldn't be fish in it as the 3rd-5th ingredient" and there's weird white things in it. I have to show her that there's too much fish in something. I don't trust her in getting the food for my diabetic cat either. -.-

Oh the dogs I have had to live with recently- My dad's now ex-girlfriend's highstrung not well trained female American Eskimo, her breath smelled like poop, literally.
Now I live with my mom's boyfriend's big stinky un-neutered pit bull rotty mix -.- Not a dog fan

My boyfriend and I are going to have no dogs when we move in together. We both are cat people and not dog fans. So far we have agreed on my cat Eli (the diabetic. He's 14, but has years left) and we have talked about us getting a grey kitty for him (he loves grey cats as much as I love orange cats)

Oh I know how that feels. When I go away to school it hurts to be away from Eli. I'm thankful that we found out he has diabetes before I go away to school for a semester instead of while I am away for a year or so. At least it's only a few months instead of a year. A year would have destroyed me. But now it's just a few months of worrying. Though I know he'll be fine.

My hair is pretty long, too. I'm thinking of chopping some of it off, though. It's roughly halfway down my back right now, but it's beginning to feel like a bit of a social blanket to me, so I think a few inches need to be gotten rid of.

I need to get my hair cut still. ^^"

I had this really awesome haircut a few months ago, but it grew out and now my hair is kind of...Cousin It-ish...Haircuts are one of those things that I have neither the time nor the money for, generally.

Yeah same here. Except I have the time. I don't have the money though. I am lucky that I do have 2 girls I'm friends with who are both cosmetologists. ^^" One of them could cut my hair if it came to it.

My best friend's mother is a cosmetologist. I could probably have her cut it either for free or at a discount...but, that family is kinda strapped for cash so I wouldn't want impose on them.

Yeah, I think they would be able to do it for me if it came to it.

I haven't had my hair braided in ages.

I don't braid my hair often because it never looks all smooth and pretty like the commercials because (a) it's curly and (b) it just has a bunch of flyaways and I hate that.

Same with mine. Plus my hair looks best when it's down and free.

Yeah, I like my hair down the best, but right now it's long and it's hot as the seventh ring of hell here.

I dozed off and finally gave up and fell asleep. :/ Now it is afternoon ^^
