I love hearing the people bitch and complain about it. I just suck it up and walk to class in the weather. I'm used to stuff like that from being in my highschool. What's a snowday again? :XP

I still bitch about it. My college doesn't close even if there are three feet of snow on the ground...and I have to drive 15 miles to get to school, so...yeah...bitching ensues. The actual snow, though, I lurve. Winter is growing to be my favorite time of year.

Yeah, winter is mine too. I used to be bummed out that I was going to have my last semester in the Fall instead of Spring like normal people. But, I actually love the idea that when I finish, it's Christmas and it's snowing. Perfect time of year for me. ^^

There's one saying basically that at our school, you have to time it perfectly to make it to the bathroom after eating at this one dining hall. A new student is asking about it and we told her all the food issues on campus. She asks us "what dining hall do y'all recommend" the first response was "Wendys" then people and myself are sending her more places off campus and the Starbucks on campus. :XP

XD Nice. Mine is just a community college atm. Considering how far most drive to get there every day, it really should close down more easily.

Yeah, same with the community college I went to. You'd think they would close since they follow the school district and a good chunk of the students there are parents and they would be missing classes because of their young children being home from school and being unable to find a sitter for the day. :/

Kind of off topic, but the other day I was waiting for class and one of my classmates mentioned: "You can always tell the freshman because they walk in and they're still wearing high heels, have makeup on, and look like they give a shit about themselves. That and they still think people give a shit what they look like. The rest of us just walk around in stretch pants and a sweatshirt and call it good."

It's so freaking true! And I can't help but notice the newbs around the school campus anymore. Every time I see high heels I have to keep myself from lmao and shouting "FRESHMAN!" at their back.

Oh same here. We can tell who the Freshmen are for the same reason and they're the ones walking around with their Fredonia State lanyards with their ID card and keys around their necks. While the rest of us just roll out of bed, say "fuck makeup" throw on random crappy clothes with our hair kind of out of place (basically death warmed over) and throw our ID card and keys into our bags or pockets :P

Edit: though I see students who live on campus and aren't first year students wearing high heels and I know they live on campus since I see them leave my building. I wonder "how the hell can they walk in those?" and I live in the building furthest from the academic buildings.

I was never really interested in it but good music is good music. Sure, there's a lot of crap out there for any genre but finding gems makes the hunt worthwhile. Think of me as a big game hunter...But with music :lol:

Yeah, I like how my campus looks. It's just a pain in the ass sometimes. Especially in the winter when it's cold and windy. The design sucks in the winter. It's a wind tunnel. To make it worse, the building in the middle (Williams Center) the top floor will be closed this year and next year. So, we can't cut through it out of the weather to get to our classes. But, I don't mind. I finish in December and miss the bad part of Winter there in Jan and Feb.

@Ser: The way I would walk home after high school was a wind tunnel. It was ridiculous. I almost flew off like a kite several times.
