True.
I hope I can take Japanese next semester! |
I have software for that, but I'm not gonna do the classes yet. They want you to learn all of the symbols in like the first few weeks. It's extremely hard. lol. I'm good with just German for now. :)
|
I speak a little German too...
Guten morgen! Wie heist du? |
Ich heisse Johan (oder Saro) Und du? Wie heisst du? ((the double s takes the place of an essette))
|
Was ist Johan? Ich bin Gelangweilt. Heute werden wir zu beobachten Sie den Film Tron.
|
Johan, ist John auf deutch.
|
Oh, I see... I don't remember that many german names.
My name is Gabriel but you can call me Gab or Gabby. *nod* ^^ |
I'm John. lol. duh. I enjoy my name.
|
:c I'm so jealous. I wish I could learn a cool language like German.
|
Any room for another Uni/Grad student here? I just found this thread. o - o;;
|
In this infinite theoretical space extending out into infinity?
Sorry, just ran out of room. But we can make an exception because you're just so adorable. |
yes. Nice sparklies! :D
From what I gather, all are welcome. |
I'll suck in as much as I can just so no one gets crowded. ; )
Thank you Hyena and Sarofest! |
YAY! NEW MEAT!
o_o You didn't hear that. I'm not a cannibal. I don't know what you're talking about. |
Hear what? There's no carnival? Well that's a shame.
*ignores the herbs and seasonings sitting around* How are you all tonight? : ) |
I'm good... waiting for 10 to roll around so I can go to work and earn more money..
|
Mmm...money... is it a fun place to work at?
I'm suppose to be looking for an internship. |
I have no job, because they all want experience, and I have none. It's kinda a catch 22.
|
I work at Walmart, sad to say. With a degree in the fine arts, a vocabulary that includes the word 'solipsistic,' an IQ of greater than 101, and more creative ambition than anyone in this town... and I make minimum wage as a backroom associate. At Walmart.
Ah well. I'm only 24. I have plenty of time to be more disappointed in my life. |
Sarofset: I was swimming in the same water just a little while ago. >_< Now that I've got my bachelor's degree I can finally start looking for something, but I really want a museum internship.
Hyena: That's the way it goes sometimes... especially at our age (*is 23*) |
My hope is that once I get out of this town there will be more jobs at decent places... or at least make a little more money so that I can fund my creative projects and then hopefully make some money off of that. >>
|
College towns are exactly the best for jobs. : \
What kind of media do you use? |
Oh jobs. I'm going back to school tommorow, where I'll resume my two jobs. Erg. (I mean, I was working at home - but still...)
I actually have an overabundance of jobs, anyone need one - I'm giving 'em away! lol (And welcome Mythos! Sar was right - all are welcome!) |
I like to dabble in different things, but mostly my efforts have all been going towards my webcomic which is done in marker and, as of late, watercolor. I'm looking to getting back into miniature sculpture now that my girlfriend got a book on bakeable plastic clays, so I might have some fun with that, but I mostly stick with marker and watercolor.

Hello people :D
I'm clicking 'refresh' lots trying to get the uni email system to work. >__> I have a question about my year abroad (in MA) application - I have to send off this form before the semester starts, because my particular exchange college is needy like that. So I'm relying on e-mailing for help. But it's being stoopid. |
