My real laugh came from books, and mental "images" of what a laugh should be. I like it. I do a lot of stuff because I read it in a book, actually.
I read a lot when I was younger, so those books made me more of what I am than my parents. |
Same here. My parents just made me, that's it.
I do admit that I have a lot of stuff left over from my parents. I have my father's integrity and sense of pride in myself and my views, and my mother's visionary way of looking at life (though I intend to make it real, not just pretend it'll happen like she does).
But where I learned to be wise? To be a person? That was all from things I taught myself one way or another. |
I have my dad's sense of humor and interest in science. We don't share much else other than looks. My mom...We're completely different people.
My mother and I can be really alike...but I'm deathly afraid of letting myself be completely like her. They say all women become their mothers...and I will kill myself before I do that. She could be worse, I'll always say that, but she is incredibly prejudiced and racist and blind to any good left in the world. I will not let myself be that way.
Sounds like we have the same mother.
Haha, yeah.
She's so blind to the good in the world that I can't really talk to her about anything. She'll tell me everything'll be okay only after she's told me about twenty more worst things. |
Or try to start a fight because you don't mention how "evil" something is.

*pokes her head in*
Hey Birdie.
@Vix: Exactly. I really dreaded telling my mom that my best friend was pregnant. The first thing out of her mouth? "Slut. You really should've known." Honestly, woman. I knew, but you wished it on her.
@Birdie: Hey hey! Nice to have you back. :) |
@Ely: That's fucked up but my mom does the same thing. So does my dad, actually.
My dad doesn't do it, thankfully. I don't know what I'd do if he was like that, too. He just knows she's a bit of an idiot who fights too hard against the world for the sake of being contrary. His opinion on her is about the same as my own.
"She can screw her own self over, I won't help her." |
He must've wanted to tap that ass baaaad
umm kinda I have to go on a walk to grab something real quick and then I'll be back, are you two going to be on for a bit?
Yeah, I won't be sleeping tonight.
I'll be on for a little while longer, but, honestly, I need to start readjusting to real life for college again next Tuesday.
Today, however, hasn't coincided with the idea of sleep. Not in real life or on Mene. Lol. |
I'll need to learn to sleep for my new job. I'd start at 5:30am.
Ahaha. Definitely.
My first class on Tuesday starts at 7:40 a.m. and I'll likely need to get up at 6:00 a.m. just to get there on time. I spend all day there until 5:30 p.m., too. |
5:30 - 3. I'd be getting up around 3:15 to get ready and jazz.
Oh, eww. Hopefully the money is worth it!
I was offered a part time manager position at my store and this would net me about an extra $400 a month.
Which is enough to rent a halfway decent apartment. I'd be happy about it! Though I couldn't take a job that early unless everything in my life depended on it.
My live pretty much does :P
I'm hoping I can find a roomie. |
Well, there you go then.
Hopefully you can find a good one, lol. |
