Do you mean nerve damage, Otaku? :)

They have chocolate flavored calcium chews. My mum has been taking them for years. Just be REALLY careful with calcium because that shit is to constipation as black is to goth.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:18 AM

Yes nerve damage. sorry I know I spelled that wrong
thats true and its not good to have to much of any vitamin.

ElysiumFate 08-31-2011 03:19 AM

There are certain vitamins that are practically impossible to overdose on. I know that Vitamin D is one of those.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:20 AM

I know there are some you can overdo it on. Vitamin D isn't one of them.

TaiyoTsuki 08-31-2011 03:24 AM

I'm not sure about that....
And I know this is off-topic, but I have a couple of new pics:

Vitamin D is a big one for the people who live near the Arctic Circle and above the Arctic Circle. Since they go months without a good amount of sunlight if any.

I should look into getting supplements. ^^"

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:27 AM

@Taiyo: like the coloring and the first color. good job with the face on the second one
@serena: same here

TaiyoTsuki 08-31-2011 03:29 AM

@ Otaku: Thankies!
@ ser: You'd be right there. I get enough sun with how much I walk to and from class, and considering how I like my chocolate milk a LOT....

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:29 AM

@Taiyo: your welcome gosh I love artwork

sarofset 08-31-2011 03:30 AM

You don't really need supplements if you drink lots of milk, but they're good for you. Especially if you tend to get sick. Vitamin D is great for your immune system. I take it whenever I feel like I might get sick. Usually helps a lot.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:30 AM

@saro: when my bf gets sick I give him vitamins

ElysiumFate 08-31-2011 03:32 AM

I'm pale and extremely deficient in vitamin D in the winter. I have to take pills then.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:33 AM

is there anything to take to strengthen an arm? my left arm is extremely weak from my elbow down

TaiyoTsuki 08-31-2011 03:34 AM

I'd suggest doing some small weightlifting exercises for that.
@ Otaku: BTW, if you read the description for that pic, there's a small story in there too.

@ Ely: Oh, I know what that feels like.

sarofset 08-31-2011 03:35 AM

You could just go outside without sunscreen for oh ten minutes. that would do it.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:36 AM

@Taiyo: I could lift weights its kinda hard with nerve damage but I still can do it. When I was working at my college i had a hard time lifting things but I still managed

TaiyoTsuki 08-31-2011 03:37 AM

@ saro: True. Then again, I don't usually wear sunscreen going from class to class anyway.

@ Otaku: Ah. That would make things slightly troublesome. What gave you the nerve damage?

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:37 AM

@Taiyo: car accident >.<

ElysiumFate 08-31-2011 03:38 AM

@Saro: Sure, that works in the summer, but in the winter when it's butt ass cold outside? No.

sarofset 08-31-2011 03:38 AM

Lonely: for that it will be difficult, but small weights will help a little. mostly you want to strengthen your grip as much as you can. That will help the forearm.

Ely: pfft. wuss. :P

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:39 AM

@saro: that does help :) I do need to work on grip to since two of my fingers are weak as well

ElysiumFate 08-31-2011 03:40 AM

@Saro: :talk2hand: I'll accept my wuss status in this case.

It's just that if I get cold, I stay cold. I think I have relatively poor circulation. It takes a long time for me to heat back up after I've frozen myself.

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:40 AM

@Ely: hate the cold. what do you think causes the poor circulation?

ElysiumFate 08-31-2011 03:42 AM

@Otaku: I'm not sure. I have always been this way. I think it's just one of my body's quirks.

Oddly enough, I absolutely adore the winter months. The clothes, the warm hearth fires, the hot cocoa, the snuggling, the love, and the family...Mmmmmmm. The peace of snow falling and the striking gray branches against a rare, blue, December sky? Yes please. The holidays...lord, must I go on?

LonelyOtaku97 08-31-2011 03:43 AM

@Ely: aw warm fire places and snow I love snow. plus the smell of burning fireplaces is great
