You know, I've been on Mene since 2007 (with the odd months-long hiatus...) and I cannot remember it going down for days at a time.
Why do some similar sites manage to do that frequently? |
I genuinly have no idea.
And this Friday I officially go back to college. I move back in on Monday! |
lol. My classes start Tuesday. I have to go get books and whatnot tomorrow. Along with my pass for the train and buses.

I start Monday afternoon, I'm going back on Sunday.
I love my yearly bus pass, it's darned expensive but cheaper than buying tickets all the time. And after a couple of months, the sting of paying for it goes away and it feels like free travel. x] |
Costs me sixty bucks for the whole semester. It's a great deal since one month is like eighty. lol.

Students ride the campus buses for free at my university. Makes it much easier for me when it comes to getting around campus in bad weather.

*sighs and rubs temples* My boyfriend is having one hell of a time with funds... as if transferring wasn't bad enough.

He's a native american, so he's trying to get money from his tribe. They offer to cover everything, from the bill to the books... problem is, they're taking FOREVERRRR and school starts on the 24th :x It's cutting it close.

He's lucky that he can get money from someone at least. I can't afford to switch schools. Then again, I don't even have the money to be in college.

I'm REALLY lucky that the lottery pays for my undergraduate schooling. Bright Futures for the win! I'm also getting a scholarship from my community college, which is going towards buying food because my Mom's out of a job and I'm not allowed to work.

How're you not allowed to work? And I know the feeling when your mom's out of work....

My sister went to Cambridge, and they don't allow part-time jobs there, unless you try and get special permission.
The work is that intense. My university is waaaay lower down the scale, but most people don't have jobs during the semester. |

They have fees for everything added on to our tuition whether we use the service or not. It's kinda irritating.

Mmm - It's basically what they don't want to say straight up is part of the tuition!

It's them being lame. There's a "student fee" which they use to have environmental bs conferences at our school. It's wasted money, that I still have to pay. ...I'm not bitter.
