I wonder how we Australians compare to the rest of the world in the doing of things properly....I've only left the country once, and that was to China....and its special territories.
The only public systems that work are in Germany, and Japan. It has to do with the attitude of doing yoyur best, no matter what you're doing, as opposed to the do as little as you can and then go get drunk attitude we seem to have in the states. It irks me.
Same here. I guess if I'm going to move anywhere, it'll be Germany or Japan. I already know German, and I want to learn Japanese.
Germany being the only country holding the EU up right now. lol.
very true.
Never liked the idea of Globalization. It promotes this lazy, weak minded attitude that's become prevalent in my generation.
And mine! And to be honest, globalization isn't all bad, as there are things we use (and eat) in our country that can only be found in other countries. Though most of the stuff that says "made in China" or "made in Taiwan" or "made in wherever other than the US" doesn't fall into that catagory. And people wonder WHY so many people are out of work....
Globalization is the dependence of one country on another for economic stability, and it's why Europe has completely collapsed, and the U.S. Narrowly avoided it.
So far. It's only a matter of time that the good ol' USA ends up being completely dependant on China or Taiwan or some other country. And when that happens, we're well and truly fucked. Excuse my language, but that's my opinion.
I don't like the thought of any country being completely dependent on China.
I don't like tha fact of any country being completely dependant on another no matter what country it is. That just means that you're screwed when that country goes bust.
And every one does eventually. That's how economics works. It was actually proven by a scientist working for the U.S.S.R. ...They then had him executed. Not nice people.
Oh dear...that's horrible. Poor scientist.
Yeah. Though they didn't destroy his results or anything, so we do now know that socialism only draws out the low sections, and shortens the high ones. Or causes an old world style aristocracy with government officials in place of nobles.
How...interesting.
... I think about stuff like this a lot.
I can tell....I probably should think more about this type of stuff...especially when I study political subjects...but for now I've finished the last political course/subject for my degree.
Morning all! Great weekend. How's everyone?
Wish me luck. I have my first psyche class in about four and a half hours. I'm hoping for a good professor, and as few papers in the class as possible. I prefer it be all tests.
Hey everyone...back in school so I have the Net to be on Mene again! I how you are all well and I look forward to chatting again!
hey Reine! We've missed yoU!
good luck sarof! |
I took AP psych. That was a fun class. I'm not sure what it would be like in college though. Good luck on it!
By psych I presume you mean psychology. I did a first year psychology course/subject as part of my degree last year. Found it difficult, there was a lot of information to remember for the exam. And I'm not used to using APA style referencing.
we didn't have to use APA except for once. But luckily there's a lot of helpful citation machines online. The Purdue OWL is also helpful.
There's a lot of information, but I already knew a lot of it since I've seen a lot of science and medical shows. And I definitely prefer memorization to formulas. |
Yes, I agree with you about memorization being easier than formulas...Actually I haven't used formulas in maths or science or anything like that since high school.
