Congrats on getting married sarofset and Hyena...I'm more in Taiyo's camp. I'm not very confident in my dating ability as a queer gal w/several disabilities...my partner would have to be in it for the long haul. I'm working on it but I'm not the most pleasant person to be with either. My parents' relationship turns me off to marriage too and the fact my sister was divorced by 28 because the guy she loved left her to find himself.

@Reine/Taiyo: Hmm, that is kind of tough. Taiyo, you DON'T have to be hanging off of the arm of a guy, obviously - people that *need* to be doing that are very insecure. Reine, I can see how that would be hard, finding someone that's willing to "be in it for the long haul" as you said, but once you do I'm sure she'll be amazing.

Personally... I think I'd get married one day, but in an "unrequited" love stage of my life. He just broke up with his girl friend though!!! (but I didn't have anything to do with that, I don't believe in breaking up relationships for your own personal reasons, .... but I can be happy about it)

@Taiyo: See now, I'm the opposite. I love cooking, and sewing, and lovey dovey anime, and I wanted an easy bake oven when I was little really really badly, but I'm biologically male. I also don't like sports, am not obsessed with sex, and hate pornography, which is like unheard of for guys in my generation. ...And I feel incomplete when not in a real strong relationship. I don't like gender stereotypes. Nothing you do is inherently male or female... and childbirth so doesn't count. lol. It's biological, and I'm talking psychological here.
