Good just really tired :3 sorry you have to put up with your mom.
|
That's good you're good. Sucks you're tired. ^^"
Eh, it's ok, I'm used to this crap happening. I'm sick of it. But oh well. I'm surprised if good things happen. Though tonight really got bad when my mom's dog barked a mean about to bite my cat's head off bark just because my cat was near his food dish. I was shaking when I was screaming at the dog. My boyfriend, when I told him all that happened, his response was "cant anythign good ever happen to you" I told him "I don't know" |
Oh sorry about your kitty is he ok? Don't worry good things happen to you and if it helps I have no cell phone because stupid sprint decided to turn service off and it was my ex's plan so basically i'm back were I started with that again and I gotta get a new one for jobs and things like that.
|
Hopefully you're able to work out the situation with your phone ^^
Yeah, Eli is doing good. He's back to his normal self with me. ^^ Like nothing happened. Elijah dislikes the dog as much as I do. Which now is "I'm hungry momma, feed me" Edit: I'm just sick of certain things happening -.- |
Thats good to hear actually and I will get it worked out as soon as I go to cricket and um...I kinda have guy now so i'm glad things worked out for you and your boyfriend.
|
I'm in College for Animal Grooming and I'm very happy that my last month for school is next month.
|
I'm glad you found a guy Otaku. Hope this one treats you well
Hi Laciful ^^ How's your day/evening? Oh nice. Congrats on being close to finishing school. ^^ |
Oh he is treating me really good actually although hes younger than me but age doesn't matter still it sucks that I can't text him or my friends because of no cell phone  I don't know why I bother with my ex's shenanigans.
|
Eh, you'll be able to get your own cell phone and plan soon so you won't have to deal with his shenanigans with the phone.
|
Well, I'm kinda just...done for the day. I've been so stressed lately.
|
:/ Hopefully you don't stay stressed for long ^^
|
So how is everyone? :)
|
Hey Saro :) How's you doing?
I'm doing decent. Just kind of bored ^^" |
@Ser: I hope so, too. I'm getting really tired of this feeling.
@Saro: I'm alright. How about you? |
@Ely: It'll get better. ^^ Stress does suck :/
|
Yeah, it will. I always just really sucks in the heat of the moment.
I'm pretty sure that I've just decided that psychology isn't the career path for me. As a minor it'd be all right, but I don't want to spend a buttload of time getting a degree in a career field that I think I'd seriously end up hating and resenting eventually. |
Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had, still, and know I'll have those moments with my career choice ^^" Hopefully stuff works out and you're able to figure out the best choice for you. :)
Getting a degree is hard and time consuming at any level. ^^" And the money :/ |
Yeah, I don't expect the career to be perfect...just something that I love going to every day unless something seriously bad happens. The big problem I'm facing is that I know what I want to do, I just don't know what jobs to do, what career, what bachelor's degree program, or what businesses will get me there just yet. Ugh. I'd thought I had it all figured out--apparently not.
The thing with psychology is that when I really looked into it it turns out that you don't start earning livable wages until Master Degree level (if you're lucky), or Ph.D. level, and even then the average pay is about $56,000 a year. Yeah, I know, third world problems, but if I'm going to spend around $100 k on a degree, that shit needs to compensate me eventually. |
Yeah, that would be why so many people with Psyche degrees end up teaching,, or working research jobs, because they tend to pay more. :/
|
Whoops. I meant to say "First World Problems" in the above post. Stress does bad things to my thought to written word process.
Anyway, yeah, that's for sure. Two of my psych teachers teach for that reason, and one of them also runs her own private practice. I think the psychology field would start being more lucrative if insurance companies weren't so hip on dropping people the second they find out they're having mental issues. If that weren't the case, I'd have less of a problem going into said field. |
Well health insurance of any kind is evil. It's why prices are so high, and research gets stagnant. I know this because my mother goes to a doctor who only makes people who self pay actually pay what they should, instead of what the insurance companies make you think things cost. They also routinely don't pay doctors, etc. I dislike them intensely.

Fell into a half sleep there, sorry. Gonna reply once more and hit the hay.
My family always gets screwed on the deductible. At least once a year they give us some outrageous bill that we're supposedly supposed to pay out of pocket. It usually ends up with us paying the outrageous bill, and then bitching about it for five months and getting the money back. Most people wouldn't say anything so the company would win, but we annoy them so much that they eventually come back saying, "oh, we're sorry, your deductible was only $100 instead of $1000." It's a messed up system. |
Sorry, I kind of fell asleep after I posted and next I knew it was 6am and my computer had entered sleep mode ^^"
It is a messed up system. I still owe money for a bill from 2010, I have to go through all this paperwork just so I can get back onto medicaid, which is a pain in the ass. I had to apply for unemployment just to get denied so I could get paperwork needed for my enroller for medicaid, just because I worked within the last 6 months. -.- I worked part time for minimum wage, once a week. Oh and lets not forget I have to wait a few months for my county to get off its ass to do the paperwork and stuff so I can finally apply for classes after I send my medical info. Which at the rate the county moves, I probably won't register till May. I've concluded I may or may not work in a library when I get out of Grad school. But, with my degrees, and a membership with the ALA (I'm planning on taking advantage of their student fees ^^), I'm sure I'll be able to find something doing something related to what my specialisation is. ^^" |
See, and having worked with medicaid, I don't like the idea of the government doing all health care. Our government seems to either kill everything they touch, or slow it down until it looks very dead. I think in stead we should outlaw health insurance, and spend that money paying the bills of those who legitimately can't afford it. Basically a full overhaul of what's out there now. Get both the government and corporations out of the issue. Big groups messing with individual affairs makes for problems.
|
I agree that most of everything the government has control over, they kill it very quickly.
