I don't have any class until Thursday which is pretty sweet. I'm gonna sleep in tomorrow, didn't get much sleep last night due to a deadline.

Let's see.... I'm planning to read a novel this weekend, for my final paper. The abstract is due on Monday and I think this is the novel I want to write on, but we're not studying it until the last week, so I have to read ahead.

I don't get to sleep in till Saturday this week, and I'm going to have to stay up late tomorrow finishing a paper that's due at midnight.

I deplore this time of year.

Ack. I'm tired from work and doing stuff tonight. Tomorrow will be nice. I have the day off. I don't work till Saturday at 11.30a-4.30p. Then I get to spend the night with some nice drink. :)
Mike forgot to bring the bacon vodka and bold and spicy bloody mary mix that I'm the only one to drink it. Those would have sounded good Saturday, but I'll be good with some stuff from the 7-11 and my cheap ass till I put my paycheque into my account next week ^^

lol! It's potato vodka and it's bacon flavoured. Tastes like shit. Mike, his dad, and I all tried a little on Christmas when they gave Mike the bottle as a gag gift (Mike, like most men is obsessed with bacon). All three of us had the most hilarious looks on our faces. On its own, it's nasty. Put it with bloody mary mix, it's good. I wish I remembered to have mike grab the stuff from his house (I'm the only one who'll drink the mix... Mike hates bloody marys). But, oh well. I'll grab it on Sunday. It's just it would have been an awesome drink on Saturday night to go with the food I'd bring home from work to nom on. But, as I mentioned, I have some money in my account, enough to afford a couple of things from the store down the road from me.

Haha, I've got my fair share of bacon jokes that I've had with my guy friends who are obsessed with it, but I don't like bacon flavored stuff much. I had bacon fries once, and I for one say they were disgusting. >.> I really love onion flavored stuff, though.

Definitely. I really hate the guilt trippy feeling of buying stuff with other people's money. It's horrible. Or even if it is your money, and you know you can't really afford to buy anything. I just hate the guilt. >.>

Yeah, it was really hard having to rely on Mike for so much when I wasn't working. I still need his help since I'm saving up for grad school. It's hard for me feeling like I am unable to take care of myself even though he volunteers because he cares.

I'm going to have to go get some onion dip mix and make some fresh, this is killing me. :gonk:

It's not 100% true, but a lot of the time guys don't mind helping you out with that kind of stuff. It actually validates them that they can help you, so I wouldn't worry about it, but I know you're happy not having to rely entirely anymore.

Anyway, I need to go to sleep. Night night.

I really want to do some cooking. The dorm kitchens here are tiny and crap... and although the one on this floor is shared by 40 people, no one ever, ever uses it.

I think it's sad to put hundreds of 17, 18, 19 year olds straight onto a meal plan.
Cooking is one of life's pleasures.... and necessary skills.

Speaking of vodka, I'm going to a cocktail/smoothie party on Tuesday, should be good... I don't drink enough v.v

Oh I hated dorm living because all we had in my building when I was there was just a small kitchentte, a small stove thing that had no oven... Now we have an oven and I don't even go there anymore. :(
But, it would be stupid to have one kitchen for over 200 students. So, I'm looking forward to when I go to school this year, just me and the girl I'll be living with in the apartment.

I hate living in the dorm, only cooking I do is with Warm Delights in my microwave because I don't have a oven and right now i would love to bake brownies or cookies.

I hated not having an oven when I was at school. I had plenty of days where all I wanted to do was bake some cookies or brownies.
