On a better note, I found out tonight I'm getting a "promotion" to Crew Trainer. That and i found out that if I had the ability to drive/better availability, I would have a chance at being a manager. o.o

The cool part is I get a different name tag :) It made me feel good she thinks I'm good (even thjough I fucked her order up this evening ^^") and even mentioned that if I had better availability I would be a manager. Mike even said so that he figured one of these days I would get something good. I'm like him at work. Only in female form. He even said himself that I would make a good manager.

This may be a stupid question, but why would you be paying $100 a month for a driver's license? Insurance?

I'd say the bus shows responsibility, too, if that's the case. It takes a lot of timing and such to do buses right.

My insurance actually just went down...finally. Not sure if it was because of me, or because my car is getting older. (I was both a new driver and owned a new car, so my insurance cost wasn't pretty)

But, yeah, I think I only have one friend who hasn't totaled a car other than myself. *knocks on wood*

No, I don't think it would've. :lol: I guess they're not as environmentally minded up there as they are in Colorado. People love it when you say you take the bus in FoCo.

I think the last time I checked my insurance was a few years ago, so hopefully that over 25 thing will help me out this time. My accident was actually just a fender bender but the car wasn't insured (not to my knowledge) and so even though I got hit I was still automatically at fault... which is why it's the bad monkey insurance :(

lol Snobby can work sora but not with future employers XD They are kinda the same area's (Portland, Eugene, Hobo, Seaside) are SUPER into the environmental standers. But we still have plenty of people in suburbia that drive a hummer to the grocery store. Besides Home Depots corporate is in Chicago where I guess there are no hippies.

Yeah, I might head to bed soon too. I have to be at work at 11.30a tomorrow. Working till 7. Then I start a shorter hour week that has later hours. But, I do have Saturday off. Thank goodness ^^

Yeah, I'm back in school again right now. I'm so sick and tired of it, but I know it's the right thing to do. But I do that four days a week atm. Thank goodness I got Friday off.

It's good you're finally getting a day off next week. If I had it my way, nobody would have to do anything all summer long other than have a good time.

I know what you mean. ^^" I wish I didn't have to request it off and could just get Saturday off. Same with Mike. Though I look forward to having that day off. Especially after this week ends tomorrow, and then this coming week. I dunno if I'm getting another shift this coming week, my manager isn't in tomorrow (she has off) but Monday I'll probably mention something to her that if she needs me wed or thur to come in, I could. Considering she mentioned that I would be taking a shift during the week ^^

That's the thing about part time jobs. No guaranteed day off a week unless you get a place with some Christian values that takes Sunday off every week. Pretty sure there are a few atheists out there who would fake being a Christian just to get a day off every week. XD

Fridays and Saturdays are my favorite days every week. I like to have them off.

Yeah. I'm lucky since I have been there since March and have done as well as I have, I do have the ability to ask for a day off each week and not get denied. ^^" I'm available the other 6 days for most of the day, so I'm good. : )

I love having Saturdays free because everyone else I know has Saturday off, or most. And since it's summer, Saturdays at Mike's house usually involves doing some stuff around the yard and such, and some form of relaxing some weekends ^^

I definitely like the summer. My family does a lot of stuff on the weekends then. We're just getting the boat together, and I'm figuring on cleaning it in the morning so we can take it out next week, but we take that out most every Friday during the summers. Then there is the Ren fest and we love art festivals, so those are coming up. :)

I wish all year was summer right now.
