yeah 106 is way to hot I'm glad it's kinda just chilled at 60-70 here
but working in a kitchen on a hot day blows |
Lucky you Bound were do you live? ya luckily my mom cooked when it was cooler.
|
Yeah, it hit 101 today here. That didn't last too long, though, and now it's "raining."
|
Gees thats hot i'm glad it "rained" sadly we got nothing here. However there's a fire near Manitou but i guess they lifted the evacuation for that. These forest fires are so bad this year.
|
At least you get "rain". We got one teasing little thunderclap.
|
Nice siggy Kit and a thunderclap is better than clouds that produce no rain.
|
Thanks.
We didn't get any rain either, the thunder just got our hopes up. Lol. |
Yeah. We haven't really had rain in awhile. If we do it's just for a little bit and not much.
|
@Kit: right? same with the clouds I seriously thought it was gonna rain
@ser: ya the rain is good especially with the heat. |
@Kita: Seems like it's really going to rain in Ft. Collins where the fire is the worst, which is the important part.
The lightning where I am has been insane, though, and it's sprinkling. |
@Ely: I hope it does they've had evacuation notices up there but I heard it was lifted. Hopefully the rain will help with the fires its just crazy i've heard it was an arsonist causing them.
|
@Otaku: I dunno what fires you're talking about, but the High Park Fire was started by lightning, thank God. Nobody would be able to live down starting that fire.
The smoke has been awful. |
I'm in Oregon
where it rains ALL the time XD it's sprinkling right now hey ely sorry I haven't responded to the pm I've been really in and out |
Well I hope it helps put out the fires. D:
My grandma called me when they first started because some stupid newspaper back at home had this headline "Wildfires blanket Denver" and she was freaked out and I had to calm her down and explain that they weren't even in Denver, let alone blanketing Denver. |
lol yay for honest media
|
@Kita: That's lame. It'd be interesting, though, to see what the rest of the U.S. thinks of our fires. They must (like your grandma) think that everything's lit up. >.> Which isn't that far from the truth.
@Birdie: That's fine. It took me forever to reply to you, too. I've been so busy. |
Lol yeah. She told me that and I was like "Wait....what?"
Ely:: I know. Wildfires aren't something I've even been close to before, so its a new thing. |
Hopefully the fires let up out in CO soon.
|
@Kita: I doubt where you are that you'll ever have anything to worry about as far as the fires go. The fires don't usually get this bad--this is just an awful year.
@Ser: Yeah, they really need too. The smoke has been so thick even where I live (30 miles from the fire) that it's like cutting through butter. |
O.O That is awful Ely. I hope you don't have to evacuate (well... Any of you who lives in Colorado)
|
where are you Ser?
no worries, I know your busy Ely I wouldn't be if Russ would ever let me online anymore :( |
I'm from Rochester NY, so I'm far far away from the fires.
|
opposite coast yet were always on at the same time XD
|
lol! Yeah, though right now with me I'm on now because I don't work many mornings anymore. My manager has me scheduled 4-9 every day except Friday, but I go in early those days if they call me in.
I wonder why she has me scheduled so late now O.o |
nights can be hard no one wants to work them it seems
at lest at taco bell thats how it is |
