It didn't even snow on Christmas this year. I remembered leaving my house at 7am to go to Mike's and it wasn't cold enough. I don't think I had a winter coat on. :(

I clearly remember going for a run on New Years Eve in shorts and a longsleeve shirt and sweating my rear off.

I live in New Jersey. It's not supposed to be that warm on New Years!

@Ely: I have basic on my netbook. Buying the computer I'm on now from Mike. He bought it to play diablo3, but the vid card isn't right. we're looking for the card for it, but it needs to be a low profile one. I needed a new comp for school because my desktop needs to be majorly upgraded and a virus taken out. I have no time to get it fixed (and no money since all of my money has to go to school.)
He's having some trouble really knowing what to look for. SO, I'm buying it from him. altogether it cost him $340, I'm just getting the tower from him. ^^

That's a good deal. I hope he finds the kind of computer he's looking for. When the time comes for me to buy a new laptop, I have no idea where to start. I'll have to take my dad along even if I'm not living at home at that point, because he knows everything about that stuff. He's good at scaring the tar out of salesmen so that we get good prices, too. [lol]

My dad works for a computer company, so he's pretty knowledgeable about it. If there's one thing my dad is, it's determined not to let technology to get the best of him. He can run most stuff better than I can, and he's 55. Might be slower than me, but he knows more than me about computers.

When computers first became popular, my mom would constantly ask me how to write and send e-mails. It drove me nuts.

Homegroup can be a good thing, but I don't like it. I have to lock all my folders so people can't get into them. >.>

It's useful for me since I have it protected where only my desktop and netbook are sharing things. It's useful atm because of my music library on my netbook. I'm lazy and impatient, not gonna waste time searching for everything again.

My mom got a new car today. :D

I was up till going on 6 this morning trying to get as much as I could transfer. I just finished transferring my music because I had to take some time for a break to sleep and such.

Yeah, depending on the rest of my schedule, that'd mess me up, too. I hate to say it, but I tend to like to sleep during the day, because at night I get peace and quiet.

Yeah. I like how at night I get quiet and such. ^^ I'm enoying the time I have to play around on my new compy :)



Edit: I dunno what I should do. I forgot to mention last night that my grandmother is in the hospital and I didn't see her last night. I work today 4.30-9.30 and I'm contemplating not going in today and staying home waiting for mom to get home from visiting her boyfriend.

I also felt sick this morning from last night (stomach ache), but I'd still go in with that since I knew it would go away and I would feel better and good enough to go in today. Plus it was my fault I got sick. ^^"

So, if I were to go in, it would be because of grandma being in the hospital and visiting her with the family.

I just don't know what to do since I feel bad about calling in, and them having to look for someone to replace me tonight.
But, it is the first time I would call in and it's because something happened in the family.
