Hope today is a good day. ^^ I'm happy, tomorrow I get to see Mike and spend the day with him before I go to work. He has off and has a dr appt tomorrow morning and I need to go to the doctor also, so I set up an appt tomorrow morning after his. He's going to take me to my appt.

mmhmm, he has been. ^^ We're enjoying the next few weeks together as much as we can. He's using vacation time the 24-26 so he can take me down to school and help me settle in for the weekend :)

I hate writing papers. I like to write, but I hate writing papers, so I always put them off. It's the whole "you're supposed to do it, so now I refuse" kinda thing.

Yeah, I totally agree with you, but I've got to have deadlines no matter how much I hate them, or I'd never do anything. Pretty much, anyway.

The job hunt has not gone well for me because everyones gonna be hiring after the semester starts. Hopefully someone will hire me so I can get this done and over with.

Ick papers I had deadlines on them to and realized I couldn't slack off anymore. If i'm working i'm just gonna have to work on them while doing that I had so many to do last semester.

You don't sound crazy. I genuinely like to write papers. To collect research and then analyze it and turn it into an argument...it's fun, and I learn a lot from it. I just hate myself for when I procrastinate on them. And then, wasn't too interested in writing this paper just because me and history don't get along too well sometimes. (I just find it boring, it's not that I flunk it)

Writing papers isn't bad I enjoy doing it myself but I don't like team projects yuck :p, so in my quest for the laptop i'm a bit confused as to if I should go to best buy or walmart.

I hate having to do team projects. You can never fully rely on everyone doing their fair share. There's always one or 2 people who will slack off while the rest of us have to do all the work. Then we get a shitty score because of the ones who slacked.

I love researching stuff for papers. I usually have a problem coming up with a way to start them. But, once I do, I keep going till my brain is mush

Yeah research is hard for me but luckily a librarian helps me out with that. Since i'm a history major she helps me find accurate documents on historical sites. I don't have problems typing my papers but I just don't like doing research because its hard to find reliable things.

The library I have has great resources for research, and there's pretty much no question that the stuff you find is from reliable sources. Research is only a problem for me if I've chosen a topic that's little known and just doesn't HAVE sources.

I've never done that but whats a pain is when your teacher asks for primary sources. One did that she wanted 5 primary sources i think.

Freaking primary sources. Those are SUCH a pain in the ass, I agree. This paper I wrote on Monday only needed one primary source, but it also needed ten other sources. Omfg, I only needed five sources for that paper to make it what it was, but I ended up finding sources that said the same thing in different words just so I could get to ten.

It also bugs me that teachers ask for a certain amount of sources and then don't check them. You could have a source from God, and they wouldn't blink.
