I'm comfortable staying home and watching movies in the winter-- I just like the coziness.

Glass 08-09-2012 08:43 AM

I'm not dead if anyone wondered. >.> Just thought I should notify. XD lol. How is everyone?

ElysiumFate 08-09-2012 04:21 PM

That's good, Saro. XD I figured you were okay since Kita drops by every now and then.

I'm good--nervous about my new college in a week, but it'll be okay. :)

How're you?

serena yuy 08-09-2012 04:52 PM

Oh yay, Saro was on. Glad he's doing good it seems ^^

I have less than 2 weeks now till I'm done at work :)
Oh yeah and I have a job interview next Friday ^^

ElysiumFate 08-09-2012 05:02 PM

Yeah, was starting to think we'd never see him again.

Ooh, what for?

serena yuy 08-09-2012 05:31 PM

Yeah, same here.
Some job at a food place/bakery looking place on campus.
It doesn't seem like it would be too bad of a job. ^^

ElysiumFate 08-09-2012 05:33 PM

Ooh, that sounds fun. I hope you get it! Or a better job. :)

serena yuy 08-09-2012 06:21 PM

I hope I get it. It's a better job than what I have now ^^"

ElysiumFate 08-09-2012 07:21 PM

Doesn't sound like it's fast food, at least.

serena yuy 08-09-2012 07:22 PM

Yeah, which is awesome for me :) I am soo looking forward to finishing at the job I have now.
I just have to survive today and less than 2 weeks left ^^"

ElysiumFate 08-09-2012 07:27 PM

Has your current job been starting to suck?

LonelyOtaku97 08-10-2012 03:23 AM

So sorry for not posting today was my birthday and I was busy all day long. Hey I did get to see Obama today which was really cool? so hows everyone doing?

ElysiumFate 08-10-2012 03:26 AM

I am so jealous of you, Otaku! I love Obama. I would love to see him.

And happy birthday!

LonelyOtaku97 08-10-2012 03:33 AM

Thank You! and thats cool you like him it was cool to see him since I didn't get to last election are you gonna vote for him?

ElysiumFate 08-10-2012 03:42 AM

You're welcome. :)

Yeah, I'll vote for him. No offense if you're a republican, but I hate Romney. If Obama does something stupid I'd either not vote at all, or just vote for Obama despite it because I am not voting for Romney.

I was too young to vote last go round, but I'm excited to do it this time. :)

serena yuy 08-10-2012 04:04 AM

Happy Birthday Otaku!!!
Oooooo You lucky!!! You got to see Obama!!!
I voted for him the last election (I was 21 in 2008)

@Ely: Yeah ^^" It's getting annoying and I'm glad that I'll be done soon.

ElysiumFate 08-10-2012 04:30 AM

I don't care about any other president we've had in my lifetime, but I'd absolutely jump at the chance to see Obama. I have loved that guy as a president and just all around person since I first saw him.

The managers being annoying?

serena yuy 08-10-2012 05:15 AM

I loved Clinton (I grew up then). I was so excited when I got to vote for Obama in 2008 to kick McCain's butt.

To vote for Obama again and in general, I'm registering to vote the first chance I get, out in the town I'll be in when I go to school.

Eh, just overall I'm tired of working there and really can't wait to get back to school. Considering the drama there, and the fact that there are crew members there who irk me sometimes. Plus one of my favourite managers applied to and from what she said, had a really good job interview at a bagel place across the way.

ElysiumFate 08-10-2012 05:26 AM

I liked Clinton as much as a little kid would, but my parents put a sour taste in my mouth for him with their dislike of him because of the cheating scandal.

I get really irked when my friends tell me they aren't registered to vote. I'm like you, if I have to do something to get my right to vote I do it immediately because it was so hard earned.

Yeah, it was a good starting place for you, but I'm sure you're ready to move up a little bit.

serena yuy 08-10-2012 05:17 PM

The way I have it with Clinton and his scandal. So what? He got a blow job. At least the country wasn't falling to bits like it did during Bush II. But I was a little bit older than you were at the time. Plus what he did was a private matter that should have been left to the family and shouldn't have blown up into what it did.
I still respect him and follow what he's doing now with his foundation.

Yeah, it was. And because of it, I was able to get an interview so quickly. ^^

ElysiumFate 08-10-2012 08:06 PM

I don't appreciate that he cheated, but I've never hated Clinton. Like you said, shit didn't fall apart when he was in office like it did with Bush. I was a well rounded Bush hater during his time as president. I still hate Bush because he's made it so hard for Obama to look like a successful president.

serena yuy 08-11-2012 04:12 AM

Yeah, I didn¨t like the act he cheated either. But hey, it wouldn't have turned into such a huge prblem if the other side wasn't full of idiots and the intern wasn't stupid. -.-

Yeah, I feel bad for Obama. I just want to strangle Romney and his ppl who sit there and say that Obama is a bad president because of the mess we're in. But it's because of their people that Obama has such a huge mess to fix. ANd it's a lot of stuff, so how can you expect him to get 8yrs of mess cleaned up in a little under 4?

Plus lets not forget the fact that the entire world is screwed also

ElysiumFate 08-11-2012 04:55 AM

The Republicans have been corrupted for many many moons now. If there's any part of humanity that truly deserves to be exterminated it's them. None of them want anything good for the working class anymore.

Romney is such an ass. I have a couple of people on facebook that really like him and I have to delete their posts about him every time I see them. The Republicans are lying out their asses trying to beat Obama, and Romney is obviously a misogynist. I have absolutely no respect or any pity for the woman that votes for him.

And that's juts it. Bush did SO much damage. I laugh my ass off every time Romney mentions the debt Obama has added to--yeah. Bush's debt that was upwards of trillions of dollars.

LonelyOtaku97 08-13-2012 04:35 PM

I heard Clinton was a good president and learned about the cheating scandal in a college course. I'm sure he was a good president but everything got blown out of proportion like always. Not very many people were happy President Bush either but I was young at the time so I didn't really pay attention to what he did. I hope Obama makes it to the idea of a republican in office is just scary and i'm registered to vote.

serena yuy 08-13-2012 04:53 PM

I was around 12 when that whole thing happened, and even then I had a feeling it was blown out of proportion.
Yes, he did what he did. But it was something that should have been left to the family. In my opinion if the president were to cheat on his wife in anyway, that should not be blown up and thrown in the public's face like it was and blown up into what it turned into. It's something that the family needs to sort out, not Congress.
But, there are people who will say that it was right that happened because of him representing our country, blah blah blah.

But, they did what they did, it happened, and thankfully one of the Houses of our Legislature did not completely impeach him.

I voted for Obama back in '08 (after voting Hillary in the Primary that March), and plan on voting for him again (I'm registering to vote in Amherst, NY where I will be living for a couple of years).

I didn't forget to post in here. I zoned out when I was on last since I was working and my short 5-9 shift turned into a 5-close shift (we close the restaurant at 1am, and spend 45min-hr cleaning)
