I had a thought about our RP and it's for at the very beginning. Kind of like 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine', it would show the beginnings of all of the characters and how they came about together and made their little family. Heck, maybe they saw each other before getting together and they didn't even know it....dun dun dun~! XD

I have one...kinda...that is a work-in-progress because I can't really form it into words.

Pretty much, it's inspired by the song 'Hijo de la Luna'. The moon wants a child, but cannot have one, so makes a deal with a gypsy woman that she can have her man if she will give up her first child to the moon. The child is born very pale and doesn't look at all like his father, so the man blames the wife of adultery and kills her before leaving the child in the middle of the forest. The moon comes to pick it up and now has their child.

My idea revolves around the idea that there is a special eclipse about every five years where 'The Child of the Moon' is sacrificed. They are identified by the sudden change of their hair to silvery white that happens about a year before the eclipse. The child can be anywhere from ten to eighteen.

Does that sound interesting at all? I'm trying to work out the kinks about what started it.

Let's see...aside from how it happened, people don't dare to speak up against the Followers of the Moon. Besides having the final say in everything, they have warned that not sacrificing the child will cause the world as they know it to end.

So depending on the time frame, there will be one Child that escapes being sacrificed and goes into hiding. The moon goes blood red and there are many natural disasters, which furthers the Followers' warnings. The people are told that until the Child is sacrificed, the world will not go back into balance.

Once again, going on the time frame, between five to fifteen years no one has found the Child and another Child is chosen. This Child is kept under tight guard so that nothing like before will happen again. The First Child then goes about getting the Second Child away after finding out about the ritual beginning again. It's then an all-out manhunt to find the two, but thankfully there are sympathizers who help them along the way.

It's then adventure time! And they go about finding how to stop the Followers of the Moon. Complete with temples, fighting, and all forms of bada$$ery! XD

Now that would be for 1x1. I'm also thinking about making it a group RP and making there be four 'Child of the Moon'.

what if the couple that first sacrificed their child started the Followers of the Moon. and the only reason they killed their child was because they thought they were evil/sick/ cursed/ect and after that happened, it seemed that things got better so it became a tradition???? idk just a thought....im not the best at this type of thing lol
