This is a private RP between myself and Flamesofjoy, so if you're not us please refrain from posting in here. Thanks :)

...

Name: Hallie Parker
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Looks: Clickie
Personality: Hallie is a clever person, but usually doesn't fully apply herself. She is not an overly nice person, except to her friends, and she gets annoyed very easily. She has a quick temper and is not afraid to take things out on other people. She is rather sarcastic but has a great sense of humour. She is a sore loser.
Bio: Hallie is the youngest of three children. Growing up with two older brothers she found that she got away with certain things at home, so with that sense she took it into the outer world. Having quite a privileged childhood it was a shock to her system when her parents died in a house fire at the age of ten. Since then she has lived with her aunt and uncle, as well as her cousin Toby, who was a few years younger than her.
Other: She writes her own songs and has a pet mouse called Eddie

Name: Ken (Jen) Maller
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Looks: http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...musicgirl1.jpg
Personality: Jen is an outgoing person. He is kind and nice to everyone he meets. Though he appears ignorant and oblivious to the world around him, he is actually extremely smart. He just tends to not use this trait of him for anything besides school work.

Jen is also good at sports, but due to his life choices he finds it hard to get on a team of any sort. Since he refuses to play with the boys and the girl’s don’t want him in the locker room. This makes him a little sad, but he seems to push through it.

Bio: Jen grew up as an only child with a single mother. Due to a more feminine appearance, his mom instinctively raised him more girly than what a boy is normally raised like. he didn’t seem to care though. When he got older, he got more into it in fact, he started attending school dressed as a girl. This caused a few problems for him. His school mates started bullying him, but since he never let it bother him, it slowed down. People still treat him differently, but they moved on for the most part.
Other: When dressed as a girl it is really hard to tell that he is actually male. He has a great voice, and wishes he could sing in a band.

Hallie jerked awake when her alarm went off at six sharp. As much as she loved her old metal alarm clock she hated the loud clang it made which jerked her awake. Slowly she stretched and got out of bed, stifling a yawn. Her long t-shirt was baggy on her skinny figure, so it acted as a sort of nightshirt. Shaking her hair out of her face she padded along to the bathroom and turned on the water heater. Always time for a quick shower, and in the morning she loved washing the sleep out of her with the invigorating smell of lemon.

After brushing her teeth she switched on the shower and stepped in. Fifteen minutes and she was out. Wrapped in a towel, her long hair dripping about her shoulders, she stepped out of the bathroom, walking into her younger cousin Toby. He turned twelve a few weeks back, and now stood there staring at her, sleep clumped around his bleary green eyes. She stared at him for a moment before smirking and walking off. Although she just got checked out by her little cousin, her confidence was boosted.

She got dressed in her black skinny jeans, her red cami which she put a white fitted shirt over the top with a red patent belt just under her breast bone. She then slipped on her red pumps and dried her hair, blasting herself with the warm heat from her hair dryer always seemed to liven her up for some reason.

Her hair was always naturally straight, most girls deemed this lucky, but she personally hated it. Hallie had tried curling it a few times, but the curls never took. Sighing, she put a small black bow clip on the left side of her head, grabbed her messenger bag and started out of the room, just remembering to grab her mobile.

"Morning," her aunt said as Hallie entered the kitchen. "Breakfast is at the table."

"Yeah..." Hallie said simply, spying her wholewheat toast and orange juice. Boring as ever, yet she was supposed to say thanks. She decided to say nothing and just sit down. She picked up her toast and began nibbling at the crust, willing the bus to hurry up, she'd get a cerial bar from the vending machine instead of eating this.

"Much on in school today?" her aunt asked trying to start up a conversation.

"First day of term, so doubtful."

Her aunt smiled and nodded her head silently, Hallie staring at her until she looked away.

Jen’s alarm started to go off. Yet it did not wake him up. Of course it could not since he was not in the room to be woken up by it’s noise. Instead the helpful boy knowing his mother had to work early this morning was already up and cleaning as the breakfast of bacon eggs and toast he start not all that long ago eagerly cooked in the kitchen.

He had already dressed himself for school, wearing his favorite white t-shirt with a denim jacket over it, and a skirt to match the jacket. There was an item he was wearing that would not be joining him for school, and that was the ruffled white apron that hung on the front of his body.

When the noise from his alarm finally reached his ears he ran up stairs to turn it off, when exiting his room he was greeted by his mother, who wore a dreary smile.

“Good morning, dear.” she said obviously still half asleep.

“Good morning mother.” he replied back to her. “The house has been cleaned and breakfast is almost ready. You can go sit in the living room, and I’ll serve it for you if you like.” he smiled widely. The mother spoke no words she just have her child a hug then went to do just that.

It didn’t take long for the breakfast to finish, and once it had Jen served it with a cup of coffee to his mother.

“Ready for school honey?” his mother ask to which he replied with.

“Of course.” No sooner than the words left his mouth the honk of the buss was heard from outside/ Since he lived the farthest out from anyone on the bus he was the first to be picked up. He said his good byes to his mother, and then ran outside to the bus. Giving the bus driver a smile and a good morning he found his normal seat in the middle section of the bus. He just could not wait for today to start.

Toby entered the kitchen about five minutes later, dressed in the same clothes he wore yesterday, the ketchup stain from last nights hotdogs was still very much in evidence. Hallie wrinkled her nose and tossed her half eaten slice of toast back onto the plate. She drained her orange juice and watched her cousin and aunt chat away happily to each other. Silently she stood up, swung her bag over her shoulder and started out of the kitchen.

"Um...Hallie?" her aunt chirped. Sighing, Hallie spun round.

"What?" she said defensively.

"Are you not going to say bye?"

"Bye."

With that sentiment she left the house, much preferring to wait for the bus outside. She was always one of the first on the bus and the last off since she lived fairly far away from the school. Ten minutes later her cousin ran out just as the bus pulled up. Edging away from Toby and his encrusted clothing, she stepped on the bus when the doors opened.

"Hey," she said simply to the driver and made her way to the seat that she had claimed near the back.

Jen had a huge smile on his face, as he rode on the bus. Soon it would stop and pick up a girl and a young boy. As the female walked down the rows of seats, Jen offered her a small smile and wave.

Then when Hallie took a seat near the back, Jen decided to turn around to face her. A welcoming smile on his feminine face. This was his first year riding this bus, since him and his mother had just moved to this area.

“Hello there! if you get lonely you can come up here and sit with me.” he said earnestly. “Or I could come back there either way is fine by me. I’ll even save the seat so you don’t have to choose now.” He was trying to be nice, but he was also lonely since her barely knew anyone. It was going to be hard explaining his choice of clothing to new people, but he was up to the task.

There was hope in his eyes, as he starred back at the girl. He really could use a friend and this girl seemed really nice. The fact that she was really pretty didn’t hurt either.

Vexatious~Venom 10-17-2010 04:34 PM

Hallie looked up in surprise. No-one really spoke to her much at school. Her sharp tone of voice and cutting remarks made sure of that, not to mention her skeptical attitude towards people, so to see someone addressing her so warmly was something that she found bizarre. Never the less, she didn't really feel that this would be an attack on her, just one look at the guy talking to her shows that he was just as odd as her, just in his own way.

Hallie smiled and picked up her bag. Standing up just before the bus started to move she quickly sat in next to him. She didn't want to wait to make up her mind, school was a very lonely place for her, as much as she did enjoy her own company it was always nice to find new people to interact with. Also, she couldn't help but notice that he had some of the most lovely eyes she'd ever seen

"Hey there," she said brightly. "Thanks. I'm Hallie. You new here?"

She placed her bag on the floor and turned to her side to face him properly.

Flamesofjoy 10-17-2010 04:51 PM

Of course when the girl accepted his offer, it made him extremely happy. When she sat down next to him, he almost pounced over and hugged her as tightly as possible, but he had to remember that something like that was not appropriate.

“Yes I am new here, my name is Jennifer or Jen for short.” After he gave his name, he leaned over and kisses her cheek softly. it was something he was used to doing, so he figured it would be ok.

“I’m glad you came over here, I was afraid I wouldn’t make a friend today. Now that you are here that fear is gone.....” he trailed for a second. he remembered that he did not decided whether or not people were his friends. A sad look appeared on his face. “That is...if you want to be my friend.”

Vexatious~Venom 10-17-2010 05:00 PM

Hallie was usually not one for hugging, she didn't like people touching her in general, she was a huge lover of personal space. Somehow, it didn't bother her too much when Jen hugged her. She gave her a small hug back and chuckled. She blushed slightly when he kissed her on the cheek, that was definitely something she wasn't used to.

"It's nice to meet you, Jen," Hallie said with a smile.

Hallie felt touched that someone considered her a friend. No-one had considered her a friend in years. No-one had ever singled her out to speak to her, or shown any sort of kindness towards her, mainly that was why she was such a snappy person with people. Though today, she felt a connection with someone, someone that wasn't obligated to speak to her.

"Sure, I'll be your friend," she said casually, as if it was something that happened every day, though inside she was delighted. "I'd be happy to show you around school too if you like?"

Flamesofjoy 10-17-2010 05:12 PM

Jen was ready to burst with joy no, he had made a friend before he even made it to school. That had to be a record or something. Slowly he leaned himself against the girl, in an affectionate manner, his head was on her shoulder.

“I would love for you to show me around the school. Maybe we could eat lunch together too? I made something special for my first day here, and I want to share it with you now.” lightly he giggled. He was a great cook so he just knew she would love what it was that he had prepared.

Slowly he closed his eyes as he leaned on the girl. He was more than just comfy right now. He felt warm inside. A feeling that he himself had gone too long without.

Vexatious~Venom 10-17-2010 05:19 PM

Hallie grinned at the mention of food, although her petite figure may not show it, she was a huge lover of food. Anything sweet was an ultimate love of hers, but in all honesty, she would in fact eat most foods. Sadly she never really ate anything decent, she hated her aunts cooking and was an awful cook herself. The thought of sharing something special for lunch added an even brighter tone to her mood.

"Sweet," she said. "And sure, it'd be awesome to eat lunch with you. I don't normally eat in the cafeteria though, is that OK?"

Hallie hated the feeling of rejection when she got snubbed from certain tables, so for the past three years she has eaten her lunch out in the court yard. In the winter or in the case of rain she's sit in the library with her vending machine goodies, pour over a book for a while and then take a wander to the art classes to pinch a few more oil pastels for her own collection.

As Jen leaned against her, Hallie got herself a bit more comfortable in the seat, placing her feet on the chair in front. She breathed out happily.

Flamesofjoy 10-17-2010 05:26 PM

“You smell nice.” he spoke before answering the question that had been presented to him. “Of course we can eat where ever you like.” he said with a grin. He never imagined a bus ride to go this way. He had been excited before, but now he was way past that. The only thing that could make it better was if Hallie would wrap an arm around him, so that it would be a full cuddle.

Jen had to admit that this school was seeming better and better, and that was all thank to Hallie. Because he met her, he knew that the school year was going to be just awesome.

“Is there a shaded area where we can eat alone?” he asked a curious look playing on his face. “Or we could do it picnic style!” after saying this, he started to snuggle closer to the girl. A happy sigh left his lips.

Vexatious~Venom 10-17-2010 06:08 PM

Hallie smiled and rested her head gently on the top of Jen's, very comfortable in this bus journey. She was looking forward to the following school year, not something that she usually did.

"Thanks, lemon shower gel," she said and giggled slightly. She paused for a second to think. "Yeah, there are trees near the edge of the school grounds, not many people go over there since it's pretty shaded. Since there isn't any tables it would be shaded, alone and picnic style. It couldn't be a better setting."
