He's also a good and well-respected friend. - - - - ------------- Joseph sighed as he walked through the halls of his building, on his way to a meeting with his father that he was already late for. This better be important, he thought to himself as he unbuttoned his cuffs of his blouse and rolled them up to his elbows. When he finally got to the meeting room, he found the room empty with the web camera hooked up to the projection screen. After pressing a few easy buttons, his father appeared on the screen. "What's up?" Joseph asked politely, concerned with the visual expression on his father's face. "Son, I've been needing to talk to you about a matter..." his father said in a disappointed tone. |

Bijou sighs out as she was in the thorn room with her mother Queen Flora. "Bijou my dear daughter you have been betrothed. to a young human male since your birth you'll be married to him. in a arranged marriage I'm unsure when it will take place." Queen Flora say's to her only daughter her son was out of the kingdom. courting a female fairy form a other kingdom so he could be the next king of there kingdom. "Mother must I get married to him? will I have move to the human world with him?,yet most of all how will I stay in stay in my human body. for how long my normal length is only for 80 human years. " Bijou was sacred about this idea hoping the marriage would turn out well. Bijou is a princess to the fairy kingdom of color of flowers. |
Joseph threw his eyebrows together as he sat in his office at his desk. His best friend, Hank, sat in front of him in one of the two leather chairs that faced his desk. "So let me get this straight...you're arranged to get married....to...a fairy? Hank asked in an unbelievable tone.
Joseph just shook his head. "I still can't believe my dad has kept this from me for all these years," he said in a saddened tone. "I was hoping to marry for love! But...no." "Well, maybe she won't be so bad," Hank pointed out. Joseph just nodded his head. Maybe. |
Bijou walk's off to her bed room to be a lone for a wile to let this new sink in. "So once I'm married to this human man,I'll be able in my human body. for more then I normally can unless I get sick that's when I turn back to this size." the princess ask her self out loud walking down the hall ways. till making a turn to the left then up a long staircase. ((should we have there wedding in a few week's are let them meet first?))

((Sorry it took so long, right when I was in mid-typing to this reply, I had to go. Then the rest of the week got really hectic. And yeah, a wedding about two weeks after they meet sounds good. :)))
Joseph let out a sigh as he laid on his bed, looking up at the ceiling of his apartment. Things seemed as if they weren't doing good. He looked over at his dog, Jake who was staring at him, and chuckled out of sarcasm. "A fairy, Jake...can you believe it?" he asked the dog. "A fairy!" |

Bijou's best friend Cho was sitting down in a comfy chair. as Bijou she was sitting down on her bed trying to think things out. BB I can't believe your going get married to a human man. that your mother has kept this form you for way to long,why must you. go to the human world I'll miss you so much!" Cho are other wise know as butterfly between the two girls. yup the princess's best friend was shock about this idea big time. Cho I feel the same way about this I'm the one. getting married to a human not you so. why can't you clam down about this hole thing besides the wedding planes. so far are unknown to my self,even the man's name. are what he is like ugh mother should have let. this one fall in love with a male fairy noble or form any other line." Bijou was worried even afraid of this hole marriage idea wondering. if humans still believed in fairy's are not any more? how would she keep her wings hidden form being called crazy. |
Joseph sighed and face palmed his face, right in another meeting with his father. "When do I have to meet her again?" he asked, now glaring at his father.
"Saturday, but don't worry. It's only for a simple dinner. You're cooking," his father told him. Joseph glared even worse at his father now. He hated having to cook for anyone, though he's been told how well he was at it from the ones he HAD to cook for. |
Bijou sighs out by now she was talking with her mother once again. You are going to be meet him Saturday." the queen says to her only daughter but had a feeling. that her daughter had some question's to ask her in the next few minutes.
"But will it be in the human world? do I meet him in and what time should,be there for? do we even know a city for which he lives in are by what name he go's by at all???" she ask all this in a really confused yet upset tone of voice. Bijou was know to get lost after a lot of thing's have changed over the years. |
Joseph waited patiently for Bijou as he tossed some mushrooms into the sauce he was making for the pasta for their dinner that night. So many thought were running through his mind. What would she look like? Would she be pretty? Would she be ugly? Would she be nice? What.

Bijou was in one of her normal outfit's which was a long skirt and nice top on. she was walking to Joseph's place right now. her mother warned her only to use fairy magic to get to his world. but made sure to land few blocks away so she would have time hide her wings. so much thinking was going on in her head right now finding his place. after good 15 minute walk finding his apartment building. heading up go to his place was easy for her. thank goodness for directions on paper it help her out greatly.
She find's his place rings the door bell not sure what he would be like. or have some type of pet that would be different to her. Bijou was in her human body her height as human was 5foot 8inches tall. |
Joseph's chest tightened when he heard the door bell buzz. He straighened his favorite sky blue tie in the mirror he passed and then took in a deep breath and opened the door. He slowly let out the breath when he caught site of her. she was so...so beautiful. "Bijou?" he asked and then gave her a small warm smile as he motioned for her to come in.

"Um yes I'm Bijou and you must be Joseph? she ask him with a blush roused on to her cheeks. seeing him for the first time he's really handsome looking. Bijou walks in with a smile on her face back to him it was a shy yet kind one. yet she had been nervous about meeting Joseph for the first time tonight.

"Go ahead and make yourself at home, dinner will be ready soon." he told her as he motioned to his living room area. He hoped that everything seemed everything was comfortable enough for her. "I admit...I really hate this arrangement," he told her as he walked back into the kitchen area of the apartment to attend to the supper.

Bijou walk's over to the living room and sits on a couch down on it was nice and comfy. "As do I as well, you have a really nice place here." mostly trying to make small talk with him she could smell. food cooking it smelled great not sure what he had made for dinner. she would not be rude to someone was so kind to her.

Joseph places some spaghetti on a plate and sprinkled some homemade tomato sauce and then his famous alfredo and mushroom sauce, adding a few black olives on the side, doing the same for the next plate as he then set the table. "Alrighty. Foods up."

"Okay I'm coming." Bijou says to Joseph in a clam voice as she get's up off of the couch. then starts to walk off to the kitchen to go eat dinner with him. once in the kitchen she notice the table was all ready set up. she carefully moves a chair form the table to sit down to eat. hoping it was all right with him doing so a fairy. such as her self was teach to do a lot of things so being able to fit in both worlds.

Joseph sat down after Bijou had sat down. He sat down in his seat and then began to eat. "So, Bijou...tell me about yourself," he said with a warm and friendly smile. He very much wanted them to be friends...there was something about her.

Bijou so far had a pick up a fork taking a bite of food it was wonderful. once she finish eating her first bite then nods her head. after being ask to tell him about her self. "Well as you know I'm fairy,but also a princess of okay size kingdom. got one older sibling a brother no younger sibling's. got some frineds back home besides my best friend can be so crazy at times. I have been tolled by lot of people my singing is good not sure if it really is." Bijou says not sure if Joseph wanted to know more about her even more.

Joseph slowly nodded his head. She sounded highly interesting indeed and her life doesn't seem so bad, he guessed. "I'm an only child, I'm basically a prince in this city...my father owns a bunch of corporate unions and he's still buying. And I don't have a best friend. But I do have...friends. And I'm sure your voice is lovely."

"I'm sorry for this hole arranged marriage going on between us. but I'd would like to be your friend maybe later on in life are feeling may or may not grow for each other." she says apologizing to Joseph since her race can live for so long. it was hard for them to be married off to a other race then watch them die. Bijou eats a bit more of the food yet now she was really unsure. of what to say after what she'd just said to him.

"Please, don't apologize," he said in a soft and gently, yet warm voice as he began to eat his pasta. "I hope this is all to your liking," he then told her, wanting to make the best conversation possible. It was basically their first date anyways.

Bijou start's to eat some pasta yet think about asking him if he ever want to have kids? after a few more bite's of food she use a napkin to wipe her mouth off. "Everything is great I really like mushroom's there my favorite vegetable. um if you like I'll cook for you one were married to each other." Bijou says in happy voice that was soft yet clam. she was trying to think of the right words to say around Joseph. hopefully he would not be to shock to see her fairy size or her wings.

Joseph smiled and nodded his head. "We can take turns. I love cooking myself," she said as he expressed it with putting his right hand over his heart, his fork in his other hand. "But I'm not a feminist, so feel free to do whatever," he said with his best charming smile he could conjure.

"If you don't mind I help out with cleaning up the house and um do you. have any pets? I'm sort of sacred of animal that are bigger then my fairy size." she says to Joseph knowing humans like dog's and cats as house pets even fish sometimes. Bijou eats some more pasta slowly as well elegantly at the same time like lady should.

Joseph gave her a soft understanding smile. "Not really, but in my summer house, I have horses," he told her as he ate more of whatever had been left on his plate. He was highly shocked at himself for how well had had cooked tonight. That only happened once in a while.
