"Sounds like a plan," Rose replied. Tagging along with her roommate sounded like a good idea for a while.

Taylor finished his own food and waited to see what the rest of Sera's plan was.

"Awesome. Whenever you're done we can head out." Sera glanced at Damien and Taylor. "You two can come as well if you want."

"I think I'll tag a long. Might as well." Damien smiled.

Rose nodded and finished up her lunch.

"Sounds like fun," Taylor replied. Better than sitting around all afternoon doing paperwork. If anyone needed him, his cell phone was on.

Sera nodded and finished up her food as well before she got up, waiting for the others to get up as well before she started towards the back.

Damien got up as well and offered Rose a hand up, smiling.

Rose blushed a little, but took his hand and let him help her up.

Taylor stood up and went to stand next to Sera.

"Ready when you are," he said.

Damien smiled and let Sera lead the way.

Sera nodded and led the way, heading up towards the giraffes.

Rose followed Sera, looking around at the enclosures as they passed. They weren't quite as interesting as the cat enclosures, but it was probably also the caretaker of the cats that had her interested, as well.

Taylor tagged along, walking behind the girls with Damien.

Sera sidetracked to go see the meerkats, watching them run around and pop in and out of their holes.

Damien chuckled as he watched the little critters running around.

Rose grinned a bit when she saw the meerkats. She nudged Sera a bit.

"It almost reminds me of a whack-a-mole game," she murmured. "Just a lot cuter."

Taylor almost snorted and waited to see Sera's reaction.

Sera laughed quietly. A meerkat popped up and she mimed holding a large hammer and hitting it. "Bop!"

Damien snorted, biting his lower lip.

Rose couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Yeah, pretty much," she agreed.

Taylor nudged Damien.

"Your girl has a sense of humor," he commented quietly so the girls wouldn't hear.

Sera snickered as the meerkat ran down the hole again at her actions. "Poor little thing."

"So does yours," Damien said with a grin, amused.

Rose grinned.

"It knows we want to use a cartoon mallet on it," she joked. "It's taking cover."

Taylor watched the two girls laugh and joke around.

"So, what has you indulging the whims of someone like her?" he asked Damien. He knew his friend would know what he meant.

Sera laughed. "It had better," she said in fake menace. Then she grinned and looked over at the giraffes.

"She's interesting," Damien said softly. "Accepting. Besides, it's very easy to and very fun to make her blush." He grinned.

Rose nudged Sera.

"Let's go see," she said. She kind of wanted to see the giraffes now, too.

"Interesting?" Taylor repeated. "She seemed a little bland, to me. Kind of like a kindergarten teacher." Sera had a bit more fire to her, more steel in her backbone, and he liked that.

Sera nodded and moved over to the other enclosure. The giraffes were moving slowly, grazing and in no hurry at all.

"She has an off sense of humor," Damien said with a grin. "Besides, she likes cats."

Rose blinked and looked up at the giraffes.

"I didn't realize they were quite so tall," she commented. "Perspective is different in pictures."

Taylor rolled his eyes.

"Of course," he said, "she likes cats. That's always a plus, for you."

"Yeah, I know." Sera grinned as she looked way up at the giraffes. "They're fun to watch though."

"Well duh." Damien grinned broadly. "So what about you? You like Sera?"

Rose nodded.

"Now just imagine what would happen if one tripped," she said, grinning a bit. "It would take out everything around it."

"She's fiesty," Taylor replied. "Isn't afraid to speak her mind. I like it." He grinned. "She's got more spark to her than... I keep forgetting her name. Some sort of flower, I just can't remember which."

Sera laughed. "Yeah, it would take out everything. I mean if you got enough of them you could probably cause quite a traffic jam."

"Rose. Her name is Rose." Damien smiled a little as he listened to them. "Like I said. Off sense of humor."

Rose nodded, laughing a little.

"Yeah," she replied. "They're just all legs and necks."

"She doesn't strike me as a 'Rose,'" Taylor replied. "Maybe an 'Ivy' or a 'Lily.'" He watched Damien's expression. "I think you really have it bad for her."

Sera grinned. "You take down a whole major freeway with one or two of those."

"I don't have it bad for anyone," Damien grumbled. "I just like her is all."

Rose nodded, snickering.

"Yeah, really," she replied.

Taylor rolled his eyes.

"You keep telling yourself that," he said.

Sera snickered. "Imagine what would happen if the lions got out. Like in the Zoo Tycoon games."

Damien rolled his eyes and looked over at the zebras.

Rose laughed and nodded.

"Total mayhem," she said.

Taylor let the subject drop. If Damien wanted to act like an overgrown lapcat, he'd let him.
