Ugh...I'm trying to help some chick write up a good history for her character. It isn't going well. She told me, "She saw her mom die when she was young and then she was adopted." So I asked her what/who killed her mom and her answer was "No one knows." Like, really? I'm getting the feeling this chick is doing as little work as possible for this character's past. I hate those "No one knows" or "It's a secret" cop-outs. I don't mind helping her, but she's really not making this easy.

Me too. Even if the characters don't know she has to know as it's her character.

Thank you, Kirin. That's my thoughts exactly. So apparently both her parents died when she was four. I hate the tragic "my parents are both dead" thing. I swear to Aiori, if her character was raped at any point in her life, that's it. She can find help elsewhere XD
