Teeth issues.
 

I've had infections before, and I've had to wear retainers twice and braces once. It sucks. XD

I had my wisdom teeth removed because they were trying to grow in sideways. As in, teeth grow like this: | | and my wisdom teeth were doing this: | |< < to my normal teeth. XD

I was so loopy on the anesthetic that I thought I had two hands sprouting from one wrist and was totally mesmerized by a stop sign. :3

Short, simple, and rather not explain: *cough*12 cavities in one visit*cough*

I have horrible teeth, due to me never brushing my teeth. I hate dealing with teeth in general, and nearly every single one of my teeth have fillings. My front tooth was chipped when I was swimming in a public pool and hit my mouth on the bottom of it, but they fixed it.

Yeah, it WAS horrible. Especially since I had to wear the retainers twice (still supposed, but I'm not really keeping it up).

You never brushed your teeth? O_O
I can't imagine that... :O I wouldn't live.

wisdom teeth, they grew in, all sharp, they ruined the positioning of my other teeth when i'd close my mouth.
but eventually it all adjusted, i could close my mouth normally, no more pain or cuts .

I have braces right now, and I've had them for about three and a half years now. xDD;
I had to have four teeth pulled before getting them though. ; u; They had to use twice the amount of anesthetic to get my mouth to go numb. xDD; And I have a huge fear of needles... TT . TT I freaked out when I saw that big needle, and it didn't help my dentist went "Here it cooomes!" when he went to stab my in my gums. > . >

I was literally shaking. </3

I've had two wisdom teeth rupture. =/ I got the first one out, but I have to wait a while to get the second out. Kinda sucks, 'cause it's starting to get painful. And I need a third one out because it came in sideways & apparently has the potential to jack my mouth up.

Fortunately I've never had any personal problems but I've seen both of my parents suffer with their teeth.
My Mother was the luckier one, she merely had a lot of teeth out. She also cannot let the teeth on the bottom of her mouth meet the ones at the top of her mouth because she didn't have braces when she was younger.
My Father was involved in a motorcycle accident in his youth and lost quite a few teeth. He had a bridge put in to hold his fake teeth in. Recently the bridge began to fall apart and my parents had to pay out a large sum of money to have a new one put in. For years he has been in a lot of pain because of it.
All this only made me more conscious of my own teeth and I'm careful to brush them at least twice a day.

I have a lot of cavities in my teeth, and a few of them are down right visible (you can see the little black hole in my tooth). But they don't hurt that much. Sometimes I do get a bad pain in my mouth that lasts a few hours, then goes away. Also because of my medication, my gums are starting to grow over my teeth, and I'm not sure if that can be reversed or not e.o. I do hope so. There is also one tooth that didn't grow in properly. It grew into my gums, and over my teeth. But it doesn't bother me at all -3-

Oh fuck, you don't even want to know what's going on with my teeth.

I've had two root canals, one of them fractured and failed and got infected.
I might have to get another root canal (I have a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE hole in one of my teeth).
Multiple fillings have come out from the last time I got them filled because they were filled improperly and I don't have the money to get the fillings replaced.

I get an infection in the tooth with the hole every other week or so, so because of the hole there is no pain because there is no pressure build up, which is kindof a double edged sword, more shit gets in there because of the gaping hole, but there's no pain.

I have not had a tooth infection yet. I have braces and i have had a cavity, but i pulled out that cavity because it was one of my baby teeth -.- . May i ask what a tooth infection is? and how do you get it? or can you prevent it? because i absolutely despise the dentist. I think he is out to get me...(I also feel the same about doctors i have a great fear of things that need to give me a "check up".

I have an impacted tooth that needs to be removed.
The same thing that Dissociative_Dreamer had. Except it's not my wisdom tooth. I'm very nervous. :no:

I didn't even know it was possible to get a tooth infection. o.o

But anyway, I haven't really had very much trouble with my teeth. I had actually only been to a dentist once in my life until last year. My teeth are very straight and white despite not going to the dentist regularly, so I never honestly thought I had much reason to go. However, one day I bit into something and one of my teeth literally fell apart, and it was basically totally rotten inside. So, needless to say, I have now started actually going to the dentist. xD

I had a few canker sores earlier this year... That was unpleasant. But to be expected, apparently they're common if you have braces, which I have.
My teeth were pretty bad before my braces... A bunch of my baby teeth simply never fell out, so in the front I practically had two rows of teeth ("adult" teeth grew in anyway), I had a lower canine stuck below the gum line (put your tongue against the back of your bottom teeth, then bring it down to the gum line - had a big ol' tooth stuck in there ><), and crookedness like crazy. My orthodontist is a genius, though, he's done wonders. My teeth are just about done straightening up now, actually. He says I'll likely have my braces off this December. :D I'm in no rush, though. After all this (two and a half years), I'm fine with a few extra months if it means they'll be perfect. I'm not going through all this for them to still be just a liiiiittle off. :lol:
After the braces are off, I'm popping over to my dentist for a cleaning, and there's a chip in one of my teeth that he's been dying to fix for a year or so now. :lol: If I can afford it, might get them whitened a little while I'm at it. Cherry was bad and pre-braces didn't brush her teeth as much as she should, so the teeth aren't gorgeously white. And once I have these braces off, everyone is going to constantly be begging me to show them my teeth, might as well make sure they're pretty. :lol:

Squareber - A frozen chocolate bit in ice cream knocked out one of my baby molars once, actually. It came as a bit of a surprise since I was about 15... but if you read my story above, yeah, I had a lot of baby teeth still then. :lol:

I had to get a root canal once, but for some reason the anesthetic they were giving me wouldn't work. So they kept trying to drill, and I kept telling them that I could still feel everything, and in the end I wound up having to get about three or four times the amount of anesthetic, AND they had to inject it directly into the nerve, which of course hurt like hell.

And then it turned out that the root canal didn't even take, so I'm going to have to do it again.

AND the filling is starting to chip off.

I'm thinking I need to see a different bloody dentist.
