So, what do people think of New Vegas...If you've played..if not, do you plan on it?

It was really fun at the beginning, but the glitches are pissing me off at this point.

I have a DS, and a whole bunch of pokemon games, but, I usually find myself playing Zelda or Animal Crossing on it these days...Actually...Lately all I've been playing is Fallout and Left4Dead on my 360...:ninja:

New Vegas is glitchy as shit, I'm actually a little pissed off at it right now.
It froze on me last night when I was exploring the Wasteland. I'm not sure if it autosaved right where it last should have saved either, so I'm dreading turning it back on.
:cry: I heard they're making a patch though to fix at least SOME of this bullshit.
I'm tired of getting stuck in rocks.

Game glitches are so annoying. Especially the ones where you get stuck in one place and can't get out of it. Although some glitches are hillarious when other characters get stuck in a cycle of doing the same action over and over.

My sister's been having problems with one of her Lego Indiana Jones games the only way it would work was to turn the Wii on and off twice. She was not best pleased about that and that no one else had it happen to them.

The last Lego game I played was for the PC like almost 10 years ago. XP I never was crazy about those games. /shrugs

I'm not too keen on lego games seeing as they're ones where you have to do alot of backwarding and forwarding.

My favorite game series is probably...Well, right now it's Fallout (once the glitches are fixed it will be the best game ever...) closely followed by Left4Dead, and then Zelda. <3

It's okay though because it looks pretty rad. I do think you need the giant shotgun though.

AND OMGAH. Glitches. Our Xbox is EXTREMELY old, so it runs slow to begin with, but I get this "shifty arm" glitch every once in a while, which doesn't let me see the pip-boy because it's halfway off the screen. Or I can't see down the sight of my gun, for the same reason. AUGH.

I've also fallen through terrain. Not a huge deal, but it was annoying. My fiance fixed it by telling me to fast-travel. I didn't even think of that! D: But as long as the game doesn't think you're falling (I wasn't, I was stuck inside of a rock but I was still on top of other terrain), it'll let you teleport away.

Funniest glitch so far? Radscorpion head flying through the one town that got bombed by NCR. It apparently has metallic sound-effects. I have no idea where it came from, but it just showed up outside the town and started flailing about. I also had a similar glitch when I was trying to beat up a legate for information, and suddenly his fingers stretched out really really far. I thought he had some kind of claw weapon, and I was all "WTF NOT FAIR MY WEAPONS WERE TAKEN AWAY" but then he made a fist and his fingers went back to normal size. Whoops.

I also have a habit of losing my companions, usually somewhere on the strip. I think that, when I come back out of a casino, they should automatically start following me, because I wasn't the one who made them wait outside, damnit! But, there's an AWESOME glitch in vault 22, where if you fix the elevator and then use it, your companions will teleport there. You still gotta tell them to follow you again though, or they'll just stay there, but if you forget where you lostleft them, it's a quick way to get them back.

Currently I'm working on my second character, and third ending. I don't have much time to play though since I'm catching up on a bunch of schoolwork (most of which I'm behind from due to that game anyway xD), but I really want to get through this playthrough fast because my final character and playthrough is my evil one that sides with the Legion. Bwahaha.

I think my least favorite part of the game, even less favorite than glitches, is the soundtrack. Fallout 3 was quite superior in my opinion. My neighbor cheats and uses his media center to play the tracks from 3 while he's playing Vegas. xD I'm not quite as tech-savvy, so I just put up with it. I also miss Three-Dawg, because I found his announcements and news to be more relevant and less repetitive than Mr. New Vegas's.

Or the pulse gun! OMG, that thing is BOSS. It's one hit-kill for almost all robots. XD

When I lose my companions...I just back travel, until I find them. Or, I fast travel somewhere, and then they're right there. lol

I never fought the legion guy in NCR, I just talked all the info I needed out of him. :rofl

Gamer holes suck, btw. (Getting stuck in a rock or other terrain is a "gamer hole".) The only way out in fallout is to fast travel, or get hit by something hard enough to send you flying. Which only works if you're not IN a rock, you're just stuck between rocks or in other terrain where you're on top.

My favorite companion is Veronica so far. She's badass. <3

I love Boone. He kills stuff I don't even SEE. It's so awesome.

Hmm, I haven't really done a whole lot of really combat-intensive play (I had a mild combatant for my first character, and my current one is almost completely non-combat). But my Legion character will be combat only--no speech, no barter, no medicine, and only mild lockpick and science (but only because I get experience bonuses for hacking/lockpicking).

But my favorite gun from 3 was the Microwave Emitter. My favorite melee weapon was Jingwei's Shocksword. I flippin' loved the stealth armor... I wish there was some in Vegas. I was a sneaky fool! Doesn't quite work as well when I don't have armor with a stealth field. :c

Hahaha, the chinese stealth suit?? That thing is badassssss. I miss it. :(
