I just don't know where else to turn. I don't have a car or a license to drive myself out of town.

My mom wants to get a new car at tax time, and she'll give me her old one. But I can't drive it without insurance, which I can't pay for without a job. Can't get a job if I can't drive to work :gonk:

Maybe she could try to switch her plan to a family plan sort of thing?

Well, I think that's what she's getting but she wants me to pay the difference. However much the insurance goes up, with me on it. I don't mind, if I had a job! I have $1,600 in my savings account right now, and I don't want to go any lower. I had $2,000 but splurged when my girlfriend was here.
