She removed the exam from the website it was hosted on, presumably automatically by the 5 pm deadline I mentioned earlier. I didn't actually save a copy since I assumed it would be available through the night. Boy was I wrong.

But, it's here! And now I'll save a copy for myself so in case Mene dies in some disaster tonight, I'll still have my test questions. xD

OH HEY I have been playing Minecraft a lot lately. A LOT. Beta is released on the 20th and the price goes up then, so I bought a copy and my fiance bought a copy. We finally got a multiplayer server set up and we're having so much fun... I MAKE LAVA SPIRES!

Yeah I just heard it left alpha phase, and that you should "buy it now" because it's cheaper and onces it's "fully released" it'll jump in price a few more bucks.

I need to find a way to see if it will play on my laptop. I want to get Minecraft before the price goes up.

I haven't heard much about it to be honest.
I don't even know what kind of game it is.

It's a sandbox type survival game. It's reeeeally fun. Best $13 I've spent in a while, lol. You literally start with nothing, and (as of right now) there's no in-game goals other than what you set for yourself. In my single player game, I'm trying to finish building a lighthouse so I have a landmark that I can navigate in reference to. I've already built a smithy and a library. Next I want to build a temple and a public bath house.

In the multiplayer server I'm on, we're working on building a "bullet train" to go inbetween points of interest, including a volcano fort, a castle, a tree fortress, and a FLOATING ISLAND (which I thought were taken out of the game but it was so cool to find it anyway! even though it is rather small...).

Last thing I bought/got that was totally worth the money was RDR: Undead Nightmare. But that could be due to the fact that I'm a huge fan of Red Dead Redemption (and John Marston).

Liz: I LOVE Red Dead! I've only played Redemption, but it was quite excellent. Unfortunately my housemate got rid of his copy (that was bought for him by his brother!) to get some other game. I added it to our registry though (along with Fable 3!) so hopefully I'll get a chance to play it again.

I haven't played RDR, but I watched my bf play Heavy Rain, get through most of it, then he got Madison killed, and we both just, freaked out. :gonk:

OMG Heavy Rain is another one that I really want! We don't have a PS3 though and have no intention of getting one... so that's sad. I don't know of anyone with one either. :c

That sucks...The bf just splurged on one with the money he got from his grandpa for christmas. :)

Eh, so far there just aren't enough games to justify getting it yet. For us, anyway. I'd rather get a Wii first, or replace our Xbox 360 (we got ours used and it is prone to overheating and glitching and crashing and disk read errors... ugh).

I have no idea what we're getting for Christmas this year. I'm not expecting anything from my family, except dad's girlfriend because she's one of those people who insists that something is under the tree for everyone. For the rest of the family, you're cut off at 21 unless you have kids. And I don't have kids (thankfully!). Not sure what my fiance's family is doing though. In the past I've never really received anything from them, so I don't have any reason to expect differently.

Well, the only reason I got something is probably because, well, Jeanie probably went to the store and went, OMG ABBI WOULD LOVE THAT!! :lol:

I've also heard of a lot of ignorant nonsense being spouted at their rallies, but such as it is, people are dumb. I'm sure not everyone who supports what they do is retarded...I just wish the dumb people would stop screaming so loud and let the smarter people do some talking. xD

I just spoke to my dad for the first time last week. :sweat: His uncle...or my uncle (I'm not sure) bailed him out of jail, and he's been all up in my facebook since we were introduced.
My mom is that crazy oldish (not really, she's like 39?...she's younger than my adoptive half-brother is) lady at the bar getting smashed with her friends and being loud and obnoxious. I love her, she's awesome. Love my brother too!! He's so cool for a nerd (just like meeee!!!). ;)

Yeah, that's how my dad and I feel. We're both libertarian-leaning, so we get the whole "reduce the size of government" thing, but some of the things they say are just absolute nonsense (not to mention that they never propose any actual ways of solving problems, just that they pay taxes that are "too high").

Lol, your mom sounds like a cougar. And I mean that in the best way possible. My fiance's mom is like that, going to bars and stuff (I think she's in her early or mid 40's). His brother's friend (who was like... 16 at the time?) once asked her out. Her response: *scoots close to him* "Honey... that's illegal. ;D" He was soooo embarrassed. She is pretty awesome. xD

My mom is... 49? And my dad is 58. I'm the oldest child, and I'm only 22. o_o

I get sad sometimes, since my fiance's grandparents are only a few years older than my dad. xD

My adoptive father was like 62 or something when he passed away, and that was about, 7 years ago now. So he'd be turning 70 just after my 20th birthday. Weird shit, man. My mother was...59, I think, when she passed, and that was 2 years later.
My half brothers are 44 and 40, my little sister is 16, and my oldest nephew is my age--19.

But yeah, my birth mom is cool, so is my brother, I do wish he'd stop this back and forth relationship he has with this girl though. xD It's silly.
He's a lot taller than I am though, I think. Either that, or everyone else in texas is a shorttyyy next to him.
He's also a lot heavier though, so is my mom.
