Supposedly they have a friend who can make the games work again. I was so mad xD My girlfriend bought me a PS2 + KH 1 & 2, when she was here in August. Since I'd never played KH2, we played that. Then after she left I decided to play KH. It didn't work, and I couldn't return it because she'd left :cry: So I ordered another one online.

That one didn't work either :gonk:

So finally she just gave me her old one, which works perfectly :XD It's the risk I get from ordering used copies, I suppose. But at least I got my money back.

I got Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations for Christmas. I'm also looking forward to getting Disgaea 4, if anyone knows what Disgaea is. xD

I know how you feel. :( I can't let anyone borrow any of my games or my PS2 because one of my friends scratched them up. I don't let anyone touch my PSP either.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy used games online. Only from places like GameStop in town where I can exchange it if the disc doesn't work.

Oh, and I've played Borderlands for XBox. Pretty cool, but it gets a bit redundant. Haven't quite finished playing through the story, but it looks great and the gameplay is pretty intuitive.

I've heard of Disgaea, but I can't say I'd recognize it or know anything about it. xD

My ex got a copy of a Disgaea game for his ps3, but it didn't interest me.
It looked like just one of those stupid japanese games made to appeal to the anime obsessed but have no real substance past OMG DESU CHARACTERS.

It has more substance than that. xD It's probably the funniest, and one of the crudest, games I have ever played. The characters are cute, but it has a great storyline too. Trust me, I've played those OMG KAWAII DESU games before, Disgaea is not one of them. :)
It's not for everyone though. There's lots of grinding.

Ew, I hate grinding. I always did terrible in RPGs (ESPECIALLY YOU, CHRONO CROSS :evil:) where a lot of grinding is required to actually finish the story. I guess that's why I like games like Fallout where you don't actually have to level up to beat the game, since the game doesn't really get any harder, combat-wise (and in New Vegas you actually never have to fire a weapon even... though it's really hard :gonk:).

Fuck grinding. There was this dumb girl on Gaia who was arguing that grinding made you a better game player. :lol:

I don't mind grinding that much, but it certainly doesn't make you a better gamer. I don't know what her deal was. xD I guess you could say I'm not that good at grinding. I think in Disgaea you only had to be level 90 or so to beat the last boss. It's easier if you are at level ~110 or so, though.
And I'll admit, it does get annoying after a while. But that's when I take a break and play something that doesn't require you to grind. I usually go shoot up some zombies in Left 4 Dead.
And Keyori, I am terrible at Chrono Cross too. Actually, I'm pretty bad at all Square Enix games.

I'm at some stupid boss battle after your main character turns into a different character. Or something like that.

I even started the game over to try to beat it again, since I pretty much had the first half of the game guide memorized at one point (I was borrowing it from a friend at the time, but that was... 8+ years ago?). And now I can hardly play it, since I've forgotten so much.

Pretty cool for a PS1 game, but I really just wanted to finish the story. :gonk:

There's been a mistake here or there, but, you know. Shit happens. Its not like they're paid to make those guides.

Their Top 10 lists are usually pretty good to read too. Battletoads is their #1 hardest game.
And believe me, it is hard. o.o I can't get past the first level.
