"Aww..." The pouting Cordova let his dropped arm dangle, having slouched a little after he was denied what he wanted to hear. But he wouldn't push her to say anything she was uncomfortable with. "Well, that's all right. If you feel like revealing any crimes, you know where to find me." he joked lightheartedly. The painter then decided to see what was keeping the unofficial villa owner but stopped after taking only three steps. "I never properly introduced myself by the way.", he said, turning to face the warrior and extending a friendly hand. "My name is Cordova. I'm a painter extraordinaire and local resident. And you are?"

Short Bio: "Abigail" is a wanderer, through and through. Born and raised to parents of busy coroporate employees, they were always on the go, so it's hard for her to get attached to anyone quickly - she's prepared to see them go. once you DO get to know her, though, she's warm, caring, and someone you'd talk to when advice is needed.

Noticing how Kora wasn't planning to tell either Mamoru or the other male about her little secrets, Mamoru just shrugged his shoulders without a word since he noticed how the other male had decided to talk first telling her that she could just talk to him. To be honest, he thought was a much better idea since Mamoru himself wasn't much of a talker anyway; he only spoke out mostly to answer people's questions; rarely did he talk long enough to bring out a whole long conversation. So right as she and the other male finished, he was planning to go to another tree and contiue his training when he noticed how the other male introduced himself, stating his name was 'Cordova'. Giving a respected bow rather than a handshake, Mamoru gave a little smile before it disappeared back to his usual serious frown. "My name is Mamoru Daishi..Knight of the Gordian Empire." he spoke out without saying anything about his position or reason for being here rather than being at the empire.

Noticing it or not, a smile crept onto Abigail's lips.

She couldn't deny it: the place was beautiful. A nice, domestic sort of charm to it. She set her bags down onto the fresh linen sheets. Next, she spun around, opened her arms wide, and let herself fall back, freely, into the sheets next to the bag, and let the hours of work and walk spill onto the room and out of her
body.

Ahhhhh.

There was work to do after this, of course. There always was. But now it was time to get the feel of the place, see who she could know, who she could stick to. Once everything was settled, the plan kicks into motion.

And so Abigail Jacobs slipped out of her hotel room and into the hallway, swiftly locking it as she went, on her way to the next big thing in her life.
She was going to like it here.

"The Gordian Empire, eh?" Cordova retracted his hand after seeing that the knight preferred to respectfully bow instead. "I hope you find your stay here better than how it is back at your homeland. I heard things have become dreadful after the incident with the princess. My poor brother's finding it difficult to run his shop there and plans on moving out sometime soon." The sorcerer didn't know much about what was going on in the foreign country. He only repeated what little he had heard from his brother and from travelers that pass by his stall whenever he left for the nearest marketplaces. How surprised he would be if he found out that Mamoru was actually the Gordian princess' guard. "Well, see you later." After giving a small wave, he headed back in.

Now here he is 2 years later and completely broke. Jaylen is too proud to go crawling back to his dad and ask for more money. Besides what he did was pretty shameful. He has decided to suck it up and act like an adult, even it it means wiping down tables. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. He plans to work for his stay and hopefully this time he will stay out of trouble.

It took a bit of a struggle, but it wasn't long until Abigail found her way to the most important areas of the hotel. All the important hotel tasks were taken care of early on into the visit: all the elevators were ridden, all the food was ordered, and all the pools were splashed in (just a little) before she found herself in a commonplace area, with dozens of people talking about nothing and everything.

And then it hit her: she was alone.

She felt herself freeze over: come on, what was she thinking? Just walking up to someone and meeting them? And hat was her big break supposed to be, anyway?

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

She slumped down - slipped, really- onto the polished floor, staring at the rips and threadings in her jeans.

Think of a master plan, she reminded herself, this is what you came here to do...

Jaylen walked up to the in with his bag thrown carlessly ove his shoulder. He sighed as he took in how small the place was. His old house would have swallowed this place. With one more dejected sigh he walked threw the front door and approached the empty front desk. He had sent in his application earlier and when he recieved his reply he hiked on over. It was a long walk and all he wanted to do was rest. But first he had to sign in with the head of staff and get his room assignment. There was no way he would be sleeping outside for the third night in a row. He was pretty sure he still had a rock lodged in his butt crack.

Jaylen slapped the bell on the desk and waited to be seen. He took the chance to glance around the interior of the inn. It had a homely feel to it.

(I dont think theres a time period. At least not by my knowledge.)

Abigail looked up at the man tapping on the bell, and briskly cocked her head to the side. She could try to introduce herself...

But she didn't work there. What the hell was she going to do about it?

Interested - and slightly conflicted, as well as regaining control over her hissy fit just two seconds ago - she brushed off her pants, got back up, and walked towards a more acceptable place to be seen lounging at (still within sight of the bell-tapping man).
A lounging site with chairs, preferrably. And some magazines...

And soon, as she regained her strength, she actually started speaking.

"Hey mister," she addressed the man, "you just came in, right?"

It seems the other guests had finally woken up and managed to find their way downstairs. The building was now buzzing with life as people moved about and went on with their business. The black clad resident headed towards the reception are where hopefully he would find that blond flirt of an employee. He didn't mind that his clothes still had some odd splashes of paint on them and that they garnered stares from a few of the residents. It was just the way he rolled. But he wasn't going to wear them all day, and planned on changing them after he takes a bath. Eventually.

Mamoru gave a little nod at Cordova when he repeated the name of the Gordian Empire just for confirmation. "Yes, the Gordian empire, and maybe I might find it more peaceful here...at least..I hope so." he whispered to himself looking around the area with so many cherry blossom trees still around. Though, the main thing that had caught his attention was that when he heard that Cordova knew about the incident that happened to the princess. Only showing shock in his eyes he turned away without a single word to him walking away. "You'd probably should head back inside too Kora...you the maid here right?...people will probably need help besides you and that other girl." he said giving her a little wave goodbye as if he was shooing her away. Just remembering about himself failing to save the princess, Mamoru hated to be anywhere near anyone at all as he walked toward another one of the cherry trees staring up at it clentching down onto the hilt of his sword tightly. I couldnt protect her...I couldnt protect any of them...why...why am I so weak?! he thought to himself clentching onto his hilt even tighter as his nails started to dig into his palm's skin.

(Yeah...umm..we kinda went a long ways without Fairy, maybe we should wait for her guys? >.< We dont want to leave her too far behind since she can barely ever get on her laptop.

Well good luck with your guy characters you two. lmao. I can tell you if something just seems weird about your guy character if you want, thats mostly all I usually play as anyway. >.< lolz)

Skye wanderd around the main enterence for a while, Poking and picking up things. She liked to investigate anything she could.
She walked up to the steps and sat on the 3rd one up, It was a further drop that she had expected and she almost fell over
